I just received this same call that is described my everyone here. I started digging a little bit, and i would GUESS that most here have posted a resume with Careerbuilder or Monster at some point in time. This guy is with Primerica.....a sudsidiary (or vice versa) of CitBank. They are a  Financial ServicesCompany. So, he is basically headhunting through these websites I would imagine. He is leaving such a vague, and intriguing message to rouse curiosity to get those calls returned. Most likely he is getting paid for employee referrals.

This guy just called me and tried to sound like he was a manager at some business.  He indicated that my resume had crossed his desk and that they would be interested in contacting me.  Unfortunately for them, I am not currently looking for a job and have no idea how they got my resume..I feel as though they may have bought my name from some entity and are trying to get me to take some entry level position with 'high earning potential'...i tried claling the guy back, but get voicemail everytime....BOGUS.

Yeah I just got a voicemail from the same phone number and was cautious.

I noticed he didn't use the company name at all and he specifically called me "Charlie", whereas I use my legal first name "Charles" with job applications, legal documents, etc.

Glad I checked here, hopefully I won't get any more of these scam phone calls.

I got a call today from Tim Stehlin today.  I don't have any info posted anywhere that I can think of.  I have no idea how he got my name and cell phone number.  He has adresses of 11260 Chester Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45246(He leases an office in this building)(Target Management Leasing runs the building).  He also has another address of 1036 North Troy Road-Cincinnati,Ohio 45246  I believe his home phone number is 513-791-4993 and the adrress of 9755 Ross Ave, Montgomery, Ohio 45242.  It is my opinion that this person is a threat to one personal and financial security.  Be very aware!!!!!!

I received a phone call on my cell phone twice from this number today. The guy did announce his name but not the company. He sounded very professional, but did not give the company name either. I thought that to be odd and he said the same as above how my resume came across his desk. I was at work at the time and could not take his call, so when I got off at 5 I called him and it went to voicemail and I did leave a message for him as I am looking for a better job. I have been throwing out my resume here and there, but I need to listen to the message again. Did anyone ever find out what this is about? I am trying to google them now and came across this forum.

WOW, I usually only type in a phone number to see the company name that the call is coming from. This is the first time I have gotten a page such as this. I was on another call the same time that this call came in from Tim Stehlin and the first three number 772 began with the same numbers as the call I was already on but he said the same thing as the others stated above and when I tried to call back I too received the vm for "The Office of Tim Stehlin".

So after more digging www.bbb.org, this Tim Stehlin apparently is linked with Primerica. I did actually keep calling and got Tim and he indicated he is with Citigroup. Citi and Primerica are connected with each other, that I do know for sure and he probably got my information from careerbuilder.

Hope this puts some ease to your minds!!

THANKS,
T

Glad I googled this number.  Really was looking for summer employment.  In the past, this same company contacted me and I found myself in a seminar in Blue Ash off Ronald Reagan Hwy for over 2 hours:(  Career builders and Monster have one too many people with access to working folks information that want promotion and stable work.  Tim did not ever say which company he was with when my son took the message so its best he don't call.

Sincerely,

Mad Mel

I'm curious if  you had to pay a fee for the seminar and what it was for.  I am working now but am getting disgusted with the double talk and double standards.  I found out last night that I am being blamed for a mistake that wasn't my fault.  This occurred last week, and I polished up my resume but haven't sent it out yet.
I came real close to calling this guy, but kept digging and found this site.

I just got the call from Tim.  Unfortunately for them, they called me once before and I know that it is a scam.  They bring in as many "enty-level" people as they can and have them cold call customers offering financial services.  The better the lower level employees perform, the higher the pay for the upper levels--its a basic pyramid scheme.

Hi, this is Tim's mother.  He's a thief.  Please don't call him and listen to his Primerica lies.  They rip off family and friends.  He's not allowed in the house any more.  Primerica made me poor, because Tim has it.  Thanks, son!
