Telemarketer from Auto Insurance, they called cell, soon as I answered recorded voice said "Thank You, good-bye". Thought about it for a minute, after I had calmed down called the number back. They asked for me by name, I said yes it's me. They were wanting to know about my auto insurance.

Told them I'm only about 30 minutes from Cincinnati and if they called me again, Someone there would personally find out about my auto insurance when I stick my vehicle up their butt.. Then I said "Thank You, good-bye"

I saw a missed call today from this number but did not bother to call back. I don't answer numbers I don't know since lately scammers is just around the corner.

I also have received a couple calls on my cell phone from 1-513-813-2155 and they only said good bye and hung up. I am on the do not call list.

This number (513) 813-2155 called me about 9 a.m.; I didn't answer as I do with numbers I don't recognize. They didn't leave a message on my voicemail. I googled the number to find out the same number has been calling others. I'm on the "do not call" list, so I'm wondering why they're calling me.

Why do these people call if when you do answer they are recorded and they hang up do not call means do not call but there should be a law for them hanging up its crap!

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list  is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

If you receive calls even after reporting them (and waiting a sufficient time), then you should consider using a call blocker app, device or service as your first line of defense.  Google "call blocker" to see such things at Amazon or other sites.

I too am on the DNC registry for home and cell phone - and also received a call today from this number.  I have received 5 calls today alone - each one I googled, it had to do with similar marketing - One was CA, OH, TN, FL, SD - how is it possible to be on a DNC registry and still get these annoying phone calls.

There are 2 different dnc registrys companies have one for just there company and then there is the national one if you told a telemarketer to put you on the dnc list it's likely your only on there. Companies dnc list so just they can't call u others can if you go online and put yourself on the dnc registry then it's to everyone. If you did the latter of the 2 and they are still calling then report em cuz they just don't care. I know all this from experience I own an insurance agency and we telemarket.

I got a call from 513-813-2155 and I answers we and all they said was "goodbye" which of course freaked me out. Then I used *67 to call back and it said "you are currently the only person in this conference" so I am kinda scared...

I received a call from this number today 513-813-2155, when I answered I heard someone laughing in the background like they had just heard a good joke, after 15-20 seconds, they hung up on me without ever acknowledging my "Hello's".

Received a call from this number 513-813-2155 (Ohio) which is an auto insurance telemarketer, yesterday I received a phone call from 501-340-0026 which seem to be the same as the one I received today. I am on the DNC lists and still receive these phone calls. What can we do about this?

I used this today , I reported the number to DNCL        Found out you need to tell them your on the DNCL and they hang up on you when you do, but they get the message and then I went through with my report , which was accepted by the DNCL center.   I hope this helps someone.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Just called this number 513-813-2155 back.  It was automatically by someone with a Southeast Asian accent (Indian) stating they were customer service.  I told the guy to take my number off their call list.  He apologized and said that he would do it.  I also blocked the number.

I went to the generals website looking for an insurance quote the way the commercial talks about. within 30 seconds of heating inner four people called me to sell me insuranc. and this company will not stop calling me. I looked it up and I can take them to court. I do not have a business relationship with them and I am on the Do Not Call Registry. if they call me again I am going to sue them. and if the judge sees that they have blatantly disregard it the law, the judge can triple the fine. I say,,
call me again insurance company I could use $4500!

my son did a Google search 4 how to sue telemarketers. some very helpful information. I can get $500 per offense. and if the judge says they have blatantly disregard the law he can triple it.
