I received a call from this number.  The man left a message saying that he can not process my order until I call back and verify my address.

I never placed any kind of order, so I never returned his call.

MEDCO is an official Medical Company processing, for me and my husband, prescriptions ordered by our doctor.  For us MEDCO is the pharmacy for the GM Retirees Prescription Benefit program...

They left a message to call 1 800 229 0832 about "my account".  It turned out to be one of those "sex chat" numbers.  No thanks.

Never give any personal information over the phone to anyone from a medco number and never, never get your meds through medco. They deliver late if at all, then try to double or triple bill, they lose prescription information, lose prescription, lose payments sent to them via check. They are a horrible company to deal. The "savings" they offer are not worth the aggravation.

my mom & dad have ordered prescriptions from express scripts and recd a order yesterday.  This morning, my mom got a call from this number and this lady said she was from express scripts and would need a credit card number to pay for her order.  my mom told her she didnt have to pay anything because it was free.  the woman insisted but my mom only gave the woman her birthday.  this lady also knew my mom had another order coming tomorrow and would have to pay or her order would be cancelled.  my mom immediately ended her conversation and called Express Scripts herself.  the official lady at express scripts told my mom that she did not owe anything and this other lady was trying to scam her.  Does this first lady work at express scripts?  why else would she know about my moms second order?  seems they have some crooks at express scripts who are committing fraud.  the official lady said this was a scam and if this scammer calls again to get all the info she can and report back to her and express scripts will treat it as a fraud case.  be careful and dont give any personal info unless you call to a official number. such scummy people who do this who try and harm the elderly😒 cowards!

Unfamiliar number. Did not answer. Caller left message stating that they need my address so that they call mail my prescription order to me. They left a toll-free number for me to call.

I do not know who they are or how they obtained my number. I have never ordered prescriptions from any service. I have blocked this number and will not be calling back.

Sounds like  a scam to me.  I got the call from Fairfield, OH saying they need my mailing address to ship my order.  I do not use Medco.  Only Express Scripts and they are in Phoenix; not Ohio.  Did not return their call.

Someone from this number called, left a message asking me to return the call to verify my mailing address, then left me the correct number for Express Scripts which is the mail order pharmacy serving Tricare. I did have a prescription ordered and when I called to verify my address, the woman who answered pulled up my account using my birth date and read me my correct address. It was no problem and they only asked me to confirm my name and birthday - everything else she knew from my account. It seems that this Medco in Ohio is just a service they use to do some of their admin stuff:)

Got a call from this number and a woman said she was calling from Express Scripts and they needed to confirm my personal information because my doctor had requested a medical test. Express Scripts supplies our prescriptions, but I'm sure they have nothing to do with paying for medical tests.  These people have obviously got hold of Express Scripts mailing list information and are trying to pull off identity theft on trusting individuals.  If you  have verified and given them any personal information you had better put a credit freeze on your accounts.

This is definitely Express Scripts, which bought Medco. These companies have many different call centers, hence the different numbers.

While they may be annoying to deal with (seriously annoying!), people on these boards should not be so quick to call every unknown number a scam. If you need your prescription, you better call them back! I get their coverage through my company and have to use them for all maintenance prescriptions.

If you really think it's a scam, then call them on their main number: 1-866-830-3883

This is also Express Scripts which is a prescription service for various companies.  It's not a scam.  Call them back or you won't get your medications ordered by your doctor.

Call ID 513-858-4700 advises to call 877-887-2895 to speak to "a team member' about a prescription.  They also advised they would be open from 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Time.  Well, here's a newsflash for ya, honey.  Express Scripts is open 24 / 7 if I choose to call them at the number on the back of my membership card............NOT some random number that's really close to the number on the back of my membership card.  Nice try scammers.  It didn't work now did it?  But, the REAL Express Scripts wants to chat with you about a legal matter.  Something about prison.  You've probably heard it all before.  NEXT?
