    Man claimed the wanted a donation for P.A.L Assn. Knew our names and address when I told him I would donate via phone he slammed the phone. Calling my local precinct to report this.

    They call everyday! Everytime I answer the phone they hang up, why cant we block these numbers?? Im sure its a scam after reading the other post.

    I received two calls today and when I answered no one spoke, though with the first call, I heard noise from the background.  I will not be making contributions to those "police" organizationa anymore.

    Between Police donations, credit card interest rates, cemetary offers, I am tempted to just have my phone taken out.  This is ridiculous.  My elderly aunt, who lives on social security just got scammed out of $2500 from a creep.  She was unaware these things could even happen.
