TN12 Feb 2007Called my cell phone and identified themselves as a survey company. Asked if I speak English and then about my education level, income level, age, etc. I refused to answer the questions and said that I'm not interested. She would not stop talking so I hung up. 10 minutes later they called again. My cell phone identified the caller as Vancouver, BC, Canada. Why am I getting survey calls from Canada?- (I'm french.) I got a phone call from that 514-288-0420 number. When I answered, I could hear a backgroupd noise, like people talking, and then they hung up on me before saying anything. I called the number, and a supervisor (Christine) told me IN FRENCH (with hardly an accent) that this was a automatic machine calling and that stuff like that happens once in a while. Yeah right !!! By reading your message, they don't talk to french people !
- We have had this number call a few different times, usually between the hours of 8pm and 10pm. Usually there is no one there, or one can hear some deep heavy breathing. ICK!!! They are a public survey company. Call 1-514-288-0199 and speak your mind and tell them to take you off their calling list!!!!!
- Opinion Search is a legitimate survey company. They get hired by political parties to do polls, and they do regular market surveys.
If you participate, you can also get invited to Focus Groups and for those you get paid $50-$100 for your time.
