Called and hung up, no message left. Googling the number turns up that "Ile Perrot PQ" (which is what appeared on Caller ID) is a town in Quebec Canada. Pretty sure that the town was not making the call, so most likely it was a spoofed scammer call. Still plenty of room on our call blocker box for lots more of these garbage numbers, and when that one gets full we'll buy another one. In the meantime, we have no plans to answer calls from anyone we don't know. Ever.

I called this number back and a recording came on speaking French then a English voice said "number not in service."

Call at 10 am. Quebec. Strange India voice. Calling about my computer. No, you are not getting into my PC. I run two internet anti virus and 2 fire wall. Too bad we can't report this to DNC. Nothing they can do anything from Canada. Spam all written all over it.

Called with Quebec showing on caller ID.  We do not answer any calls we do not recognize.  They left no message.  I used the block feature on my phone and blocked this number.

Saturday 12/19/15 3:18 pm did not answer, no message.

They called at 6AM then hung up. I reverse the call and got a message that the number is not in service.

These guys have been calling me every so often. It's a scam. The call saying I need to turn on my computer and they try leading you to a website so they can have you log in and they connect to your computer and give you computer AIDS (I assume). The name of the company they used this time was Teamview, which is a legit company I believe, but they use it somehow. I knew it was a scam but I was bored so I googled what they were asking (don't enter the .com in your tool bar like they ask) and I pulled up the Wiki page for Teamview and started reading the fraudulent section to them, letting them know that I knew what dirtbags they were. Homeboy got good and pissed and started cussing at me and telling me to have relations with my mother (politely put). All in all good times were had and I kept him on the phone yelling expletives at me for almost fourteen minutes. Personal best.

Just got  a call from them, caller ID said Quebec but the caller said NYC.  It is a phone computer scam and I am sick of getting these calls.  The older I get, the more calls I seem to get...that really, really upsets me.  I know better but how many people fall for this and loose it all.

Yep.   My caller ID said simply "Quebec", which I assume is like USA cell/mobile phones w/o names, sometimes display the originating state's name.

Called at 11:22 AM 1/5/16 caller ID showed Quebec. They sounded Indian. Asked me to turn on my PC, knowing this was a scam I said no and to take me off the list and not call me again. It seemed to make the guy mad so he started cussing at me, I laughed for a few mins while listening to him then said goodbye and hung up. SO annoying!

Called at 11:05 am 1/5/16 caller ID showed Quebec. An Indian sounding man said something about my pc and I told him that I don't have a pc and he immediately said 'oh, you have a mac' and I told him that he was scamming and not to call again. He was getting mad and I hung up.

I am in the US, Kentucky specifically, & not knowing anyone in Canada, I didn't answer. Anyone who knows me knows that if they call me from a number I don't know, leave me a message, especially when out of the country, so I know to accept international fees. Glad I didn't call back since it's obviously a scammer!

Indian sounding man, says to turn on my computer.  I ask which one?  He asks how many do you have, I reply "if you are monitoring my computers why don't you know?"  He says turn on computer, I say they are on why don't you know this.  Who are you? He says he is from Windows....Hello, there is no such name, I asked him if he is affiliated with microsoft, no answer, he tries to convince me I have a virus, that their system shows I have red-lined and he wants to help me get rid of it.  I tell him my caller ID does not say windows or microsoft and that he is full of crap, I am on a do not call list and have asked them to stop calling me in the past.  He hung up.

He said your computer has a virus and I told him I don't have a computer and that he should get a job. He hung up with out saying goodbye......(-:
