Just started getting calls.  When I answered the phone no answer and when it goes to voice mail there is no message.  I'm in NC, USA

harassing call from bill collector nco already paid for by another collection agency this company nco  fin  is harassing me for a bill that is already paid

These folks have called my number seven times in the last four days. Hang up when answering machine comes on.???????

they also work with local private eye agency and call to verify if someone is home or not without leaving a personal number behind. they also have an 800 number they use. if you call them they won't answer the call. you will be on holh. allan

They don't leave a message because by FTCPA, if they do leave a message or actully talk to a person, they can't call again that day, and in some states - they have to wait 3 days before leaving a message again.  If they call and hang up before leaving a message, they can set the call up to ring you again later that day.  For most states, they can call you as many times as they want so long as you don't answer and they don't leave a vm message.

I am registered with the Do Not Call website, but this doesn't seem to prevent NCO from calling.  They have at least 4 different numbers they have called me from. Every time I file a complaint they call me from a different phone number.  I don't even have any old debts to be paid.

I never answer calls from #'s I don't recognize , I usually call back to check and see who it is. This number called me 3 times before 9am on a Saturday! When I called back it was all in French! If it is NCO Financial like everyone is saying ,they are really idiots to think I would answer a call from Quebec on my phone.

Received first call today from these people.  I don't answer calls I don't know...
