Got a text message from this number inquiring about a kijiji ad I posted and wanting me to email normagarett@outlook.com. 514 is montreal and I live in the maritimes. Sounds like a scam.

I just got a text from him too about a kijiji ad, Im in Alberta. I know its a scam but i gonna f&^% him around a little bit.

I just got a text from him too...I live south of Ottawa...sounds like a scam! Bugger!!  

I also received a call responding to a kijiji ad. I live in Alberta. they said to text morencyjane@outlook.com Feel free to spam that email. How can we get some of these scum locked up, or deported?

Anytime u get a text requesting to contact via email, it's a scam! Due to the new laws scamers cannot contact your email directly,  but if u email them first then you are leaving the door open to them to do as they please. Beware this [***] asking u to email "morencyjane@outlook.com"....number is 16477943094

Got a text asking me to email about my kijiji ad. No doubt they would ask for my bank details next.

Just received one too from 5144373918 just 5 minutes after putting an add to Kijiji.

Then send me a long message, throw it away=>scam!

I just received message about Kijiji add, stupid  long email after says oh I can't come to see it but I will send courier company to pick up. But I will send money to your account first, pls don't believe this email,, it's totally scam. They will empty your bank account

Got a text today from +1 514 437 2313 and they said that they were interested in our furniture. I thought something was fishy since I am in Toronto and the number is a "514" area code from Montreal.  They said they moved here and wanted detailed photos and we sent them our Facebook link to take a look at photos. Then they sent the email below. I immediately thought that this is scam message and decided to look up the email by just putting into the search bar to google it this website showed up. I am reporting them to fraud alert site now. Please beware of them!

I got an email from and Angelina Paul today who says she's from Halifax.  I live in Ontario!  Said they would use their company courier to ship our item...

I received the EXACT same message TODAY from her for some furniture we are selling!

Ha! Boooo. Just received the same text from the 514 number asking me to email angelinapaul111@outlook.com regarding furniture I posted last night on kijiji. Thought it was odd so I Googled the email address. Which thankfully brought me here.
Too bad. I was so happy someone was interested so quickly haha.

The key reason why we still see these types of scams is because they still work!  Yes people are very NAIVE! Sad really,
