Dont know anyone in Montreal so didnt answer it. Called twice. The second time i looked it up online and found nothing, so i called back

Before it even rang, it had an automated response saying "the number you have called is not answering, please call back later"- Something is not right.

I got the same call, no one said anything and hung up.

Am in Toronto. Just robocalled. Rang twice and disconnected. This is (most likely) the survey/ free cruise phishing scam. Answer survey, win a free cruise BUT they want your credit card info for misc port fees - when they get it, expect a charge of up to $1000. This is a pure fraud. They used to call from a phony number in Washington State, now use a fake Montreal area code, in hopes that Canadians will answer.

They phone me daily, always from a different fake number, in order to defeat call blocking.

Twelve calls in twelve days, each from a different number.

Ils me téléphonent tous les jours, toujours à partir d'un nombre différent  afin de vaincre le blocage d'appel. Voici d'autre numéro de téléphone qui utilise pour le même sondage pour gagné une croisière:

Just got a call from this number 514-447-3084 as well.  Caller also hung up.  Is there a government website / watchdog we can report this to for investigation?

THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED ME NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS, I AM REALLY GETTING SICK OF IT.  NO ONE IS EVER THERE.

these call centre calls are just annoying, i get at least two a day. they call from Oregon, Montreal, and all over, basically it is the political survey, free cruise phishing routine and there is no way to stop them. except karma......

Have received this call many times in the last few weeks and it's a recorded message re: political opinions.
I just hang up but this is happening more than once a day :%$%#^   I live in Southwestern Ontario.

I'm getting calls everyday from the above number and when I answer they hang up.  I'm really sick of this.  What ever happened to companies respecting those of us on the do not call list.

We got this call about 45 min ago. Didn't answer. No message. Yes, all these calls are very tiresome.

There is a simple solution! Block the numbers coming in so it does not ring!

This is undoubtly some [***] with a lot of time on his hands. He is without a Friend because no-one can stand him so he sits by his phone calling people he does not know and when they answer he is such an introvert that he can't talk back.
This is becoming a past-time for all the wierdos and Ma Bell just keeps on wringing her greedy little hands while we suffer at the hands of these jerks.

You can buy a phone set from Panasonic that allows you to block the jerks but you still have to buy call display.

live in toronto. getting the call at least once a day. so annoyed. always no answer so i hang up first.

It was the cruise ship/ survey one. I answered and I just had to complete a 30 second survey and give them my credit card number. And I get a trip to the Bahamas! Ya right!

Unfortunately most call screening services have limits on how many callers you can block. I'm already past my 12 so I can't block this one no matter how much I want to.
