This phone number is being used in a fraud. They people using this number create a fake "Check" from a spice company in Texas. The letter claims that you have won contest and you are getting $60K, but, you need to cash the check and wire the money to Canada. But, the time given to cash the check and wire it isn't sufficient to meet the "contest' deadline.  So, the victim uses his own money and later the "Check" bounces and victim is out $3,600. These people are fraudulently using the cell phone number 514-571-4912 as a cover for the company processing the winnings. Please stop these people!

You know, if it weren't for people who try to get something for nothing or buy into the "too good to be true" situations, we, the police wouldn't have to keep telling people to shred these letters and counterfeit checks.  Why on earth would anyone believe that they are receiving any money they didn't earn or win or any of the above?  It sounds like you fell off the stupid tree too.

Damn JEFF, you sound like a cop too - great attitude. Instead of helping you insist to find fault with a victim instead of the instigators. "To Protect and Serve" is the police's motto but I should read "To Protect and Serve Ourselves". So, you make yourself out to be such a brilliant guy, so smart you would never even check to see if the check was legitimate, you would just shred everything based on your brilliance - wow, one day I think you will regret these words. You are Monday night quarterbacking and I must say the only cop I've ever meet that was a good cop was a dead cop. So, go knock-down some more coffee and donuts, hassle a couple of good citizens for fun and ignore your responsibilities to the public dick-head! PS. I’ didn’t fall for anything-I lost nothing, I simply reported it so no one else would be snookered. And, just like you (and the rest of your club of cops) complaints from the common citizen are ignored, criticized as stupid and laughed at. I really hope I get to say this to your dirty cop face – drop dead! Oh, answer me this too – why do all the bullies that push people around in highschool become cops? So they can continue being Adam Henry’s?

Hey Darryl - I totally agree with you - Jeff is a typical cop with a typical cop's disposition. They enroll so they can carry a gun, drink and drive and never get caught! Cops suck.

Darryl - cops have it tough, that is the truth, but that doesn't excuse them for acting hostile in instances, like the one you reported. Rather they should be thankful that you are taking the effort to bring them information to help them bring criminals to justice. I really seems like Jeff is more annoyed by the victims than he is to help victims. And, as I can see by your post, jeff immediately assumed that victims are the ones to blame here. It's my opinion that jeff needs to find a more suited to his temperament.

You idiot!!!!! Go back to your bank and pay back the rest of the counterfeit check you deposited!  I just can't believe that people are still this stupid to fall for money scams.  The only people having the last laugh are people who don't fall for what you fell for.   Now that you have a scam check deposited in your account and you spent part of it, you now have to toe the line and not do it again because if you do, you will probably go to jail for knowing that it was a scam in the first place.

Nice, here's the guys that are protecting us and ours? I never did trust them and jeff has confirmed what I've known for some time - cops care about cops, it's only ok for us regular fokes to get ripped-off, but, if it happens to them, then they want to do something about it. Like you said, this guy is a typical cop.
