my son got a call from this number.

I got multiple calls from them, I never answer and I don't have a cleu who this is!!!!

This is an a/c fraud. Contact the police.

Been contact by them.  After verifications with my own supplier, they confirm me they do not do business with them.  It's a fraud.

got call from them tonight -  they were extremely pushy and did not get a good vibe.  it must be a fraud.

Received a call telling me that this company now held the warranty for my heat pump system.  I did a reverse call look-up on this number and found nothing returned from Canada411. I explained to the woman who called me back to confirm a visit from their "technician" that I could not locate the physical location of this company.  I asked her for it and she told me she could not provide that information as she was calling from a Call Centre. LOL.  Then she got very irate when I told her they were welcome to send me information by mail with specific details about what my warranty would cover.  She finally hung up on me.  Needless to say I won't be entertaining a visit from the friendly serviceman.

So I guess this is without a doubt just another run-of the-mill scam.

I got a call telling me that this company (UCE) was taking over the guarantee on my heat pump system following the bankruptcy of my original installer (many years ago).  Although I was a bit suspicious since I have received similar calls in the past, this seemed OK and I allowed them to send a technician for a free inspection.  I called my original guarantee manager just to be sure, and they said the call I received was a scam.  From the *69, I called back UCE and got no answer.  Then I came to the present Canada411 site with the messages about the scam.  I then reached the UCE number and told them not to send the technician.  They were rude and told me they would cancel my remaining guarantee.  I told them OK.  I recalled my original guarantee management company and they verified my guarantee contract was still in effect and would continue to be so.  What a bother these scammers are.  Hope this helps someone here in Quebec (Laval).
