Margarita - 24 Jun 2008I did not get a call... It was on a letter sent to me from Global Survey Research. They sent me a check for $4,930.00 with an assignment to be a Mystery Shopper. The check is from "Custino Enterprises".

Controller - Custino - 25 Jun 2008This is a total scam being run out of Canada -- Global Survey Research does not even exist. They want you to deposit the check in your account and wire money to Canada. Once you do, the money is gone. The check is a fraudulent check so you will have to cover the funds. Custino Enterprises is a legitimate freight company who is as much the victim as those who believe the check is real and try to deposit or cash it. Beware this Global Survey Research company--- total scam!

Jennifer - 2 Jul 2008I also did not receive a call but letter was sent with a check for $4930 with an assignment to be a mystery shopper. The check was also from "Custino Enterprises". I called to verify some questions to see if it was legit and they answered everything I needed. The only reason that they made me feel like it was real was because they said to not do anything with the money until the check clears. So I deposited the money into my account just yesterday and am not touching it. I wish I would have found this site sooner.

debi - 6 Jul 2008I received a check $3850.00 with an assignment from centennial market and advertising. I called the number but the voice mail said no one was available at that time. Wanted to trash the check because I know a lot of fraud is going around. I still have it but I am absolutely not putting it in my account.

Mary - 24 Jul 2008Don't touch that money. It's a scam! My daughter didn't listen when I said no one pays up front for mystery shopping. Now she's the one facing having to repay the money to the bank and then some. Please let everyone you know that there are legitimate "mystery shopping" companies, but there have to be skeptical of anyone who gives a check and says go cash this and then send us back most of the money. Please independently check out these companies. If in doubt contact someone at your local police dept and show them what was sent. If it's too good to be true IT IS!!

Horrible! - 3 Aug 2008There are a bunch of these scams going on. These scammers essentially take real company names and pretend the check comes from them. So both the company and the innocent victims are screwed. NOBODY GIVES FREE MONEY!
