Just had a phone call from this number.  I answered will "Hello" a couple of times.  No response from caller.  So I just hung up.

They just called me at work and there was no one there.

Numerous calls from this number and just hang ups.  Called the number back and automated voice saying ( not in sevice)??????

Got a call asking for the owner of the business and whether he's in charge of our merchant account. I'll safely assume they're soliciting their debit/visa machine services

They wanted me to email a copy of our merchant statements, claiming we are being over charged for visa and debit services.  I didn't email.

This number 514-737-2293 is a fake there using there computer to call out to websites conpanys asking for personal info. When these kinds low life's call tell them to go [***] them self's.

Got a call from this number and when I answered it rang.  I hung up.

Got a call from a Theo claiming he is a rate broker and wanted me to check on discounts on POS equipment. Could tell he was fishing for information

Called today jan 08 2015 answered no one there.

Just got a call from this number asking if I have noticed any discounts with my debit, visa and mc statement/provider....wanted me to give them my info....I asked them to email me what to look for and they declined....hmmmmmm.....I smell a scam!!!

GOT CALL. NO ONE THERE ..PUT ON HOLD AS LONG AS YOU CAN TO RACK UP HIS PHONE BILL..INVEST IN PHONE COMPANY STOCKS.

We had two calls from this number asking for the debit/credit transaction history. I reported the calls to the CRTC under their Complain about a telemarketing call webpage.  I think that the more we report these companies, the fewer calls we'll have to deal with.  You can also register on their Do Not Call list so any companies that do call you will get slammed.

I get calls from this number. Always silence if I pick up. I report it every time they call to the CRTC Do Not Call List complaint line. Their number is 1-866-580-3625.

The minimmum fine for calling someone on the Canadian DNCL is $1500, the maximum fine is $15,000.

I used to do telemarketing for my busniess. I had to register with the Canadian DNCL, and pay a monthly fee of about $170. If these people calling out from numbers like this one aren't using the DNCL, it's a red flag that they aren't legit businesses - scammers, in other words. The DNCL people will investigate and hold them accountable, but only if we report them !

Just got a call from 514-737-2293. Woman claimed to be from Inkas (a legitimate company) and asked if I had noticed an amendment on my master merchant statement about debit and credit transactions. I don't accept debit or credit transactions so I knew something was fishy. I thanked her for the call and hung up.
Will be checking about my standing on the DNCL now.

Just called. I did not pick up and no message left...

I also just got a call from a woman (no accent for once) asking for a person that sold this business back in 2008. When I told her this, she just asked for the current owner. I asked what the call was in regards to and she said she was from "Inkas" (or whatever) and wanted to look at the statements for the business. I said no and hung up.
