Damn fools, wasting my time.  I called the number and got a recording:  Please press one to be added to our Do Not Call List.  It is their responsibility to check the Federal Do Not Call List, and recorded messages are not allowed either.  Time to make a complaint - Only wish I could talk to them.

Are they checking for valid phone numbers, so they do a test call?

That would be my guess.

Pressing one most likely tells the caller that this is an active phone number and instead of being put on the Do Not Call list, you end up getting unending calls from them and other crooks.

Just got a call from this number about 30 minutes ago. No message left. I'm guessing it probably is a validation type deal.

Got two calls today from them the first they just said "hello, hello" and hung up the second said "chuck" and hung up. The thing I find interesting is. Aller I'd says it's INTERNATIONAL CALL" but 515 is des Moines Iowa area code. Not very international

Got called twice within a few hours today. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I am listed with Do Not Call.

I AM SO SICK of this sort of calls...time to do away with landline phones..

Called the past couple days, 2 times each.  Once in the morning and once at night.  No messages left.  This is the only listing for this number, says Algona, IA but no other searches reveal any phone number info.....

This number has called me 8 times in two days!  Who is it?

I am do not call list and this number keeps calling - about three times today.

Told the [***] not to ever call me again. She said she would call back tomorrow and hung up. F..king [***].

I foolishly answered and it was some women doing a political survey. I hung up and have reported the caller to Do Not Call.

The DoNotCall Registry does not apply to survey and political calls. However, all telemarketers (excepting tax-exempt non-profit organizations) are required to maintain internal do-not-call lists and put you on them for 5 years should you ask them. I always answer survey calls with "But I d-ooo-n't w-aaaaa-nna do a s-uuu-rv-aaaaa-y" in my best exaggerated dragged-out 5-YO whine but in my adult voice, not in a child's voice. Real surveys think I don't have both oars in the water and never call back. Scam calls initiated as a survey will still try to get money from me though.

Just received a call from 515-200-1016 it rang so I put the speaker phone on and did not say anything she did say is this----- my name?  Then I pushed the button I am also on the DO NOT CALL LIST MAKES ME MAD!
