Recieving calls from this number frequently.  When you pick up on the first or second ring, there is no one there at all.  No messages are left, and there is dead air when listening

I told them the same person no longer with the same number but they still keep calling and delusioning.  i will not answer this call from now on because it is wasting my time.  They are pathetic people whom their only means to collect is by harrasing the wrong people.  Absolutely have no intelligent !!!!!

This is a call from a Wells Fargo collections call center for Line of Credit accounts.  It is an auto-dialer system, when you answer the phone the system routes to the next available collections agent.  The software behind the dialing system will increase the frequency of calls trying to get an answer.  Collections agents have jobs to do, but they are usually paid on commissions.  If you do not make payment with them, it is common for these agents to become aggressive with you and/or quickly end the call so they can move on to the next call in hopes of turning a payment. If you are struggling with debt, find a reputable program that will give you the perspective and tools to work your way out.  Paying what you owe is an honorable thing, even if it takes a while.  Pay up, and then take your business to another bank.  Moving your future wealth to a competitor is a free-market way to penalize these banks that follow short-term goals at the expense of customer loyalty and long-term growth.

I have told Wells Fargo that this is not the party they are calling and have even written a letter to their president, Mr. John Stumpf,Chairman, President and CEO,Wells Fargo ,420 Montgomery Street
San Francisco, CA 94104.  
No answer from him and calls continue.
Qwest will sell you a service allowing up to 15 callers to be blocked or you can change your number-that's all the help the telephone company will provide.

This appears to be a scammer.  I called Wells Fargo and they said this is not one of their numbers.  Having same issue.  They are calling and hang up when I answer.  I called back from the caller ID and the person answering was attempting to get personal info to ID me and got a bit nasty when I refused.  That is what prompted me to call Well Fargo to ask them to stop the phone calls.

The problem with most debt collectors is that they call the wrong number based contact information that has changed.  Most of the people that use this service are trying to find out why a bank that they don't do business with is calling them about another person's debt. It's very frustrating to continuously get calls from an auto-dialer and explain to some poor sap that they're dialing the wrong number. Only to have them call right back the next day. Sure, we can get their mailing address and send a Cease & Desist letter but I shouldn't have to do that for these idiots that are working off of out-of-date information. I'm at the point where I bought a phone that only receives calls from pre-approved area codes.

These people have been calling for no reason at all... four to five time daily... what is Wells Fargo's problem.... even call our local Wells Fargo and they don't know anything about it!

Wells Fargo collections Department in Ames Iowa.: The phone rings; upon answering there is a long silence then they just hang up. I understand from an industry insider that it's Wells Fargo call center in Iowa who get paid for each call as long as a connection was made.  Just Big Bankster harassment.  They don't even realize how counter productive this method is. Even after Congress restricted Executive Bonuses from the Wall Street Bankster Scam they went right back to doing what they wanted. Example: John Stumpt paid himself a bonus of $19 Million. Making money off the backs of others- No wonder America is going down the tubes.

This caller was very menacing and rude when i picked up the phone. They kept saying i need to speak with Robert my husband. They didnt use his last name which i thought was odd, they refused to identify themselves They asked who i was and i said this is his wife. they replied Ohhhh, i need to speak to robert. I said whats this in regards to same answer i need to speak to robert i said well if you cant identify yourself and if you cant tell me what this is about then i wont let you speak to him. Then the caller was all thats fine we'll call back later and hung up. I thought it was creepy!!

After years of themandother phones ringing meandwakingup I just say now all the words I never used before, instead of hello! If they complain, at least I have their data!

I called the number back and someone immediately (but politely) answered the phone as "Wells Fargo, may I help you?"  I didn't ask speak as he had already answered my question on who it is. It appears to be Wells Fargo Collections. I simply hung up.

I've talked with these people until I'm blue in the face and they refuse to listen. The number of times they have called me in one day constitutes harassment.

I have been in touch with Wells Fargo.
They have the name and phone number of the lawyer that is taking care of all my debts.
The interest on my cards was too high, and I am on a restricted budget.
They insist on calling at least 5-6 times a day. 7 days a week.
There is no message as to what they want.

Was getting up to 10 repeated attempts a day from this #.  We have turned off our home phone and try to block unwanted calls.  But my system would not allow it.  I finally called this number (blocking) my own # first... and a very nice lady answered with Wells Fargo Collections.  I asked her why they were calling my number since we do not use any Wells Fargo products (banking, loans, etc.)  She asked for my first name to verify that we're not the party WF is trying to reach.  I did and she said our number would be removed from the system.  She thanked me for calling to make the correction.  Let's just hope it works!!

It's the scum of the Wells Fargo Collection Department, that appears to be using a internet rerouting auto-dialer and masking the actual phone number they are calling from. It may show up on your caller ID as 1-515-221-5654 "Unknown Name."

By using this dirty tactic, they found a loophole around the U.S. laws, and there is no way of blocking or tracing it back to them as legal proof that their harassing you from 1-515-221-5654, because their spoofing the number.

Best thing to do is to change your phone number.
