I saw this number in the paper for a job add.  It was in The Des Moines Register.  It said "Hard  Workers Needed".

Its the number to Tenhaken and associates, the sell Kirby Vaccuums.  Its not worth your time to apply to a job. Its door to door sales with Vaccuums... no its not fun, no the pay is not worth it. Yes that Dateline show that exposed that one Kirby Company also applies here.

I work for Tenhaken & Assoc and I happen to enjoy it. It's only good for outgoing people. People who aren't afraid of selling things to complete strangers. Few doors in the face but when you DO get people to buy, it's exceptional. It's totally worth it! The commission is amazing.

Long hours, hardly any pay... dnl's, false promises of a better life, and a negative owner... this company is a joke thats why he only has 2 dealers now and they used to be managers..everyone quit i wonder why..?

This is clearly a "too good to be true company...." It is door to door vacuum sales.  They have changed the number to confuse the caller id.  We have investigated them before on employee and consumer claims.  Buyer / Employee beware.

I'm about to work for them... have they changed at all lately? What was bad about it? Thanks,

SCAM... total scam.... and for the love of god Laci, Mr. Moore, and Mr. T stop trying to make it look like you are running a legit business.  Thieves from their employees (never pay them) and illegal solicitors.

It's Kirby Vacuums on NW 2nd Ave Des Moines, IA.

As a customer that just had my entire afternoon wasted because of a "tag team" sales approach I warn everyone do not let them in the door.  The young kid that was demonstrating the equipment couldn't/wouldn't say anything about prices and when his boss Laci came to do the credit check she out-right lied on my credit application by doubling all the numbers I had put down.  Since I DO NOT approve of that type of salesmanship I said that I did not want to buy the vacuum & then had a 10 minute argument getting them out of my house.

Since I now the company's name & address, my next stop is the BBB website to report them for inappropriate and possibly fraudulent sales approach.  Also, I am calling their credit provider & warning them that Laci does not provide accurate numbers.

I happened to buy a kirby from lacy, very nice, didn't lie once about any type of credit and got me an awesome deal.  She was there for 15 minutes and gave me extra product. I love my new kirby and anytime I have ever needed help, she has been there 100 percent.  You obviously look too deep into salesman and worry too much.  She probably just tried to help you get approved if she was worried about your credit.  I love my new kirby and will pass the word!  Great job lacy!
