Call... Call.. Calll.. Call.. Never a message  CID' "Creative Advant"

They are calling my office 5-6 times a day.... Office symultanous rings to my Cell...  which have not answered...

They are now blocking name trying to get me to answer... I ahve no clue who these people are... must not be important since they leave no message!  :)

They called April 22, 2008 at 9:30am and didn't leave a message on my answering machine.  The company is:

Here is Creative Advantages contact telephone number.  They were advertising for employees at $8.00 per hour.  I guess that's why they don't attempt to quit calling, no one cares.  515-462-9700  Call them direct.

I worked briefly there at the company for a day, before i realized how horrible and heartless these people are.  They make you call the person and offer the free give away, then you do the sale for the local gift card.  Both are legit, but the problem is if a person says they are not interested and what not, you are suppose to cross off their number which are all computer generated, and so many times people are calling this same number over and over, and they really dont care about calling a person more then once if they refuse and say the do not call list.   All they care about is making the sale.  Keep reporting them , so maybe they will change the way they call people.

They just called our company and were doing there little sales pitch and after I politely said "thank you very much, but I am not interested at this time", the lady hung up on me!  I tried calling the number back several times but no answer.  I did google the company and see that the company has an address listed as Creative Advantage, 207 N. 1st St., Winterset IA. 50273 and their number is 515-462-5296.  I plan to contact the Local Chamber and report this to them and may even make the trip over for a personal visit!

Since i found out it was a telemarketing company, I will report it regardless.

why is it sucha  big deal they let you off the phone. its their job to sale they have to make a living to. you said you werent interested and leave it at that!!!!

Until they call back again. Then you have to say "not interested" again.

And again...and again....

I actually recieved a phone call from a young lady and i thought the cards were fantastic!!! their really not telemarketers they are selling something that actually benefits you! i love it! you should really try them out they save you so much money!

well say your not interested and move on. its not that big of a deal!

So what are they selling? Why all the mystery?

I used to work there as well, but have a different view of they people than Sara.  Maybe that's because I didn't quit after a day.  They product they sell is referred to as a Keep it Local Card.  It's this great card with special discount offers from a variety of companies around your town.  It's designed to keep people shopping local in your town and save money doing doing it.  Next time they call, and they will call, you should listen to the promotion and make sure to ask many questions.  Maybe it will turn out to be very useful to you and your family.

I personally used to work for this company in Winterset and I know first hand what it's like to be the telemarketer.  I would like to address the fact that they are simply doing their job that puts food on the table each week. Many workers here are very sweet and are simply doing their job to the best of their ability.  It is a job policy that they can not take no for an answer and although somtimes it would be easiest and most convenient for both partys involved, they must continue to sell their product. The Keep it Local Card I used to sell, with all honesty, is a great way to save money when used, but I understand not everyone wants to hear from Creative Advantage. Calling people all day who often don't want to be called is very frustrating and redundant for both the caller and the reciever so please, if you are called and are not interested, simply and calmly state such and hang up.  They will cross your name off and continue with their day.  If you don't answer they will likely call again soon so once again, please answer, turn them down, and hang up.  Thank you very much for your time.

To whom it may concern.
It will do you absolutely no good to report Creative Advantage to the authorities.  Nothing done by this company is illegal.  If you have never purchased the product known as the Keep it Local Card (otherwise known as the Courtesy or Big Deal Card) then the call lis simply to enter you into a $50 gas card drawing.  It is free gas. If you say no we will let you go and you can be done with us until next year.  If you enter the drawing we proceed to explain the Card to you.  At this point it is our JOB to sell you the card.  Of course we will not take no for an answer.  We believe in the savings on the card and we are being paid to make sales.  If you say no and stay on the phone, we WILL NOT stop talking.  If anyone is rude to you there is a great chance they will not be with the company much longer as the rules in the office are exceptionally tight.  The card saves you money. If you feel like you don't need to save money feel free to hang up.  Otherwise, just HANG UP!

I work at creative advantage, Its an awesome job you get to call local customers and sell them savings!!! were not telemarketers, were a advertisement company for your local business!! if you people would just shut up and listen and ask ? it can actually save you money all year!! since i have started working there i have conformed my life to the cards and i love it!! who likes free food!! I do. Im 23 years old and engaged its just a job for me to make money and right now theres nothing else hiring where i live so if we call you just hang up well cross the number off! but you have to realize well catch you on a number lise which is random, if you purchased the cards in the past, and if someone who bought them gave you as a referral! so if you get a few calls just say no thank you its 5 seconds of your day!!!! hope you one day will listen to the keep it local cards and use them!!

This is a violation of the Do Not Call List.  Creative Advantage is a telemarketing service.  Don't try and tell me you're an advertising company. You are using the phone to try and sell a product.  That's not advertising, its telemarketing.  

I suggest Creative Advantage subscribe to the Do Not Call list and honor the wishes of the customers who have enrolled their numbers.  If not, Creative Advantage won't be able to afford to pay wages.  They'll be too busy trying to raise money to pay for their numerous violations of the DNC.

Young woman tried to get me to give her my information to enroll in a monthly gift card drawing to promote the "Keep it Local" card.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!  They claim to be promoting local businesses, but the local businesses haven't heard of the card they're trying to scam money out of you for.
