This caller said I should call this number and I have no reason to do so . I want the calls to stop! Thank You

Got call this morning from 515-528-7539 it was same automated Mesg I got day before from a number 678-264-6144.  Recorded Mesg says she is Carolyn Armstrong n it's about civil matter hit 1 to rectify matter now or I can call 786-245-8990.  Or I will be served court papers.  Tired of these calls. They are harrassing.

Got the same call - so sick of these calls. Tried to call back the call back number which was Florida!? And they were supposedly calling from Iowa... Sounds fishy to me. Anyway noonwnanswerednthe phone - automated message saying the company was Bhl - googled it - no such company - just another scam!!!

I got a fax saying something about a civil suit was filed against me.

Caller stated that it was a parole officer looking for Iesha Wolf???? Did not speak with them they only left a messsage. HAve recieved multiple calls like this from this number.

to everyone getting these calls I believe it is some sort of scam, I started getting same calls about a debt that was covered in a bankruptcy. simply tell them they have the wrong person and they will remove you from their call list

What I find really interesting is that I've been blocking all of these calls on my iPhone.  Now today, I have 3 calls within the space of a 4 hour period from random numbers throughout the United States.  I got one of these same types of calls yesterday, as did my boss.   These numbers are getting blocked along with all of the others (I LOVE iOS 7 for that very reason) and we'll see how long it takes them to figure it out this time.  The numbers this time are 515-528-7539, 312-971-6240, and 606-546-5478.

Same thing.  I have been officially notified.  For what?  I don't owe anybody anything.   Gave me another number to call which is: 786-245-8990.  Not interested.

Left a message saying they were going to come and serveme with papaers at home or work Ive tried blocking this number going to call phone company.Never recieved anythi ng in mail that I oe something which how they are suppose to do it . They are first suppose to notify by mail or certified letter. Last time I got a crazy call I answered it and told them I would be waiting for them in my front yard with the police.

I received the same call and they also called my job in order to get me. Can someone tell me how to block these calls they are getting to be very annoying. Please help!

Robo calls are illegal. Total scam. Some [***] sits back, probably all coked out or high, hoping to get some sucker to pay. Never give your credit card over the phone or any bank information. I just got a phone call few minutes ago. They can manipulate the phone number on the caller ID. Probably international equivalent of International Somalia. Instead of highjacking ships, they try phone calls. Also be ware when you see a + in front of a United States phone call area code, it's a fake. Total scam.

hi Dolores that's what they try to do, wear you down. hoping they can get lucky. don't fall for the scam. they've been gunning for me for years. my lawyer said, total scam. and you can sue scam artist.

I got the call today - caller id shows 515-528-7539 but message says to call 786-245-8990.  Caroline Armstrong was her name.  Says my case is 2014-118567.  At first I thought it might be real due to the case number, but when I look it up in my county civil court - their case numbers all start with letters.  Sucks, just bought a brand new truck and now am approved for a mortgage - now they want to bug me??  I really don't want some crack head showing up at my work though -- afraid to call because it will end up being an argument leading nowhere.  My voice mail is generic - so why leave such details when you are not for sure who you are leaving them for?  Yes, they did get my name correct - but what if it wasn't me......?????  Anyone get them live on the phone??

Tried telling them they have the wrong person....did no good.  They call my home, my relatives and my job.  The most frustrating situation.  Have no idea what it is about and REFUSE to call anyone back.

Got the same thing today. They call my mom and sister which I tell them it is a scam but still my whole family is worried for nothing. Has anyone actually been served as they say!! What a joke!!!

Frustrated - Don't worry. They will never serve you papers. It's a ploy to scare you into calling them back. DO NOT call them back or give them any information, especially bank & debit card account numbers. If you do speak with them DO NOT admit to any debt unless they send you something in writing for which they collect for...which I'm 99% sure they will not. These companies scam on old debts (usually payday loans) that have reached the statute of limitations andor have even been paid back to the loan company. If you admit or put any $ toward that old debt it will reopen it for another 6 years (or whatever the statute of limitations are in your state). You cannot go to jail for bad checks or bad debts and it's illegal for them to threaten so. Also, you do not get a heads up from a company that is serving you papers. They just show up so that's a dead giveaway.

To Caroline Armstrong (which is a fake name by the way): Pick up the phone and call yourself instead of having a computer do your shady, unethical job.

Received exact same call

They've been calling me for months . But it stopped for a while and started up again this past week but I wasn't catching none of the calls and they kept leaving automated voicemails . But I caught it this morning and it is the automated message at first but if you press zero theyll connect you to someone. When I did they asked me was I so and so and I told them no that ima actually her daughter and they asked do have a contact with her is she around can they get her work number . Once I said no to giving them her work number the lady just caught an attitude and was like well ok fine we'll just find her ourselves and she'll be served. -_-
