I received a call from this number today, and a "gentleman" named David Grey from the US Treasury Department left me a message that I was being sued by the Federal Government.  I have also received this exact same message from six other numbers in six other states.

I got this one this morning.  Same thing...  a recorded voice with a foreign accent informed me that if I didn't act immediately, this case would be in front of a "magistrate judge" or grand jury.  That's when I deleted the message.

Beware off this fake IRS scam Google IRS phone scam s and learn about the scam they are looking to scare people into paying them by asking like a officer saying the cops will be at your dorm final notice lawsuit all this part off there scam. These people are in a diffent country looking for victims all day

I have also received the same message as Sheila several times twice this am from this number but also from other numbers around the nation, threating with if ignoring message could result in a federal indicment.  They never state with whom they are trying to reach and it is always a recorded voice.

My kids told me there was another scam call today. He hung up.

Received the same message twice.  Dumb [***].   It's sad to think someone may actually fall for this crap.

TOTAL SCAM.

Caller: scam

Just tried to call to harasses them but only got clicks, could be a scam of long distance calls that charge $40 per min.  Will check my phone log.

Same as above.  Never asked by name.  Deleted messages.  They must think we're fools or something...

I have received two call from this number that I will need to call the majestrate office or face legal problems or jail

Based on what I have read, it more looks like an IRS scam.

Received message: "Calling regarding an enforcement action educated by the United States Treasury and tending your serious attention.   Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid appearance before a magistrate judge.....

This guy "David Gray" speaks with an accent and threatens a mysterious "federal action" against you (using terms that no lawyer or IRS agent would ever really use).  I called back and asked him where I can serve my litigation papers against him and he could not hand up fast enough! BIG SCAM ...

Yep, same [***] as all above, is he serious, does anyone fall for this?

SCAM.....called the number back from a blocked line...no answer!!!
