Unknown - calls but never leave a message.

Soliciting for line of credit or merchant services.  Barely understand the called due to a very heavy accent.

THIS IS A SCAMMER!! Let me say it again! This is a scammer! Con-Artists trying to steal you blind! Hold on to your wallet and do not talk to them or give out your information!! You have been warned!

CID shows Cold Spring, NY.  Nothing more.  No msg.

Jennifer....asking for the owner of our company about a very important financial matter, must talk to them before then end of the day.  Not going to happen Jennifer!  SCAM!!

Called asking for an owner by name, however would not leave a message...  

Someone from this number calls our business about once a day and always hangs up after a few seconds without saying anything.

Scam calling from other numbers all over the USA.  I JUST KEEP BLOCKING CAUSE I DONT ANSWER NUMBERS IDK!!!!!!!  

called for the owner about confidential credit and financial info.  i don't think so

Offerse an unsecured loan, very heavy indian accent. Very full of B. S.

Glad I checked here before giving any information to these people. Yes looking to give money but as above I suspect a scam

As others noted, most likely a scam.

Called yesterday afternoon and again just now. Disconnected during the second ring but the number showed on my CID. I never answer calls from an area code I am unfamiliar with. Simply hit Ignore on my phone and it disconnects.

Lately some dirtbags from my local area code have called, but if I respond I disconnect immediately and assign them a Spam code I use. Next time they call the Spam code shows on my CID and I hit Ignore immediately. Works pretty good. Been getting few re-calls from the same Spam code system.

Multiple calls, asks for owner and doesn't leave a message.  

Finally a lady named Rosa asked for the owner.  I said he wasn't available and she left a number to call back - 800-975-4929 x 4113.  She said the name of the company was MCC New York and that it was a private business matter.  The 800 number is for Gateway Merchant Capital.

Calling every day, there's a noticeable delay while the auto-dialer connects to a real person after I've said the business name, so I have to repeat myself, then they ask to speak to the owner. The first time I asked for a message and call back number and not only would they not leave a message, but he stumblingly informed me that 'they don't have a number set up to accept return calls yet'. Oh. Yes. That sounds very legit.

There's a definite Indian/Pakistani accent, but the funny thing is it's sounded like the same guy each time.

Must be one of the smaller and most ineffective spammers I've ever encountered.

Continues to call our business line incessantly, at least once a day.

What a waste of time.

I have received a call from this # asking to talk to the CEO of our company. Stating he is with GMC financial and needs to speak to the person by the end of the day, willing to hold on the line in order to speak to the person. I asked the man what this is regarding and he stated confidential. I stated to him this is a business and we are required to ask the reason for the call. He stated confidential something that doesn't concern you. Well sir just let you know it does concern me. Jerk! If you can block this # please do.

516-224-0048 just called our business. Caller ID shows up as Cold Spring NY. The caller informed our secretary that her name was Paige and that she was calling from GMC Financial. As we do work in the automotive field, we do get calls from GMC Financial occasionally. Due to this, the caller was able to get past our secretary, where she reached me - the owner. She immediately went into her little spiel and I cut her off. I asked her if she seriously just called our business pretending to be GMC Financial and is now trying to peddle high interest small business loans to me. She couldn't answer, as I clearly caught her off guard. I informed her that the call was [1] illegal, [2] recorded, and [3] being reported to the FCC.gov, the FTC.gov, and the AG's Office in NY. This is NOT GMC Financial calling you folks. This is a nothing more than a lowly paid monkey with a script calling from inside a sweat shop telemarketing business.
