- Jane| 1 replyCall 877-646-**** [spam number removed], they will stop the phone calls.
- spamassassain replies to Jane"Jane" why don't you explain yourself? You work for the organization in question, right?
Here's a quote about what happens when someone calls that number:
"Anyway, I called the '877-646-7319' number, and someone named, "Debbie" with "Telco Mgmt" answered the phone. After a brief conversation she stated that she simply 're-sells' the phone numbers they receive from the phone company and she has no way to control over what happens with that number once they sell it. I persisted and she said that she could email her boss about my complaint, when I asked to speak to her boss directly, she declined. She kept asking for my number, which I refused to give her" - LoriThey call me about once a week. When I actually start speaking to a live person they hang up on me.

- spamassassainGot this from the FCC:
The best way to provide all the information needed for the FCC to process your complaint is to complete fully the on-line complaint Form 1088 which can be found at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm. The Form 1088 first asks you to select the specific telemarketing activity that you are complaining about, and then directs you to a section of the form that asks specific questions relevant to that activity.- Call type: Telemarketer
- spamassassainHey, Jane. I just submitted a complaint about your company directly to the FCC, since it's the third time I've been called. The first time, I even called back and pressed the number to be "put on your do not call list" which I don't think works, by the way. Bottom line, your company is breaking the law, and more and more people like me are fighting back.

- Ms Bobbi| 1 replyThis number has called me 27 times today alone. It has called over 100 times in the past week and I am pissed. I hit the remove from their call list button and as soon as I hung up, it called back. Then I hit the speak to a representative and it hung up on me. I blocked my number and called it back but it doesn't accept calls from people who block their number. I am on the national do not call registry and have reported them 3 times today alone, not to mention all the reports before today. I am going to the fcc and reporting them next. Then calling AT&T. What else can I do?

- wayne replies to Ms BobbiI just got a call from 516 224-0091 about 5 min ago. I do not pick up calls outside my area that i do not know. I searched the number to see who it was and found this site. What i have done in the past is call these scam numbers late at night and stay on the phone or if a man answers have my son asked if his daddy is there and hang up (he is older but can sound very young). Most of these calls are outside of the US like winners international and the calls can cost over a $1.50 but worth it considering the amount of times they will call.
- NatePlease stop 'DEBT RELIEF' from calling. It is annoying and we will never, ever use their services.

- mike| 1 replyTry what I do......pretend to be interested in whatever they are selling i.e. additional warranty for your car. After telling them I am interested and I want to buy additional stuff and pay right away with my credit card they usually
get a closer or mgr on the line to give me a special discount and finish the sales transaction. When he gets on the line I waste some of his time also and finally I tell them to eat sh@# bcz I hate these calls and I just got even LOL - steeleshair replies to mikeThat is great, let them go through the whole spill then they think they got you, then get a manager and say i am not interested. and laugh like they do in the back ground.
- SteeleshairThey call me all the time. Today they called and said they were going to sue me. And was laughing in the back ground. When i try to call them , you can never call them back. It always says something like , this number is not a working number. One time I told them i did that , and i told them what it said and they hung up on me.
- Caller: Some kind of debt consolidation co.
- JHMOf course it's a NON WORKING NUMBER. They MAKE the number you see on your caller ID show up.
Unfortunately - for us - it's NOT illegal for them to do this. THAT needs to be changed. The FTC should require mandatory JAIL time for companies that fake their caller ID.
This whole thing is just a huge SCAM - if they hook someone on this "program" that they're flogging, they'll rip 'em off for over $5,000 bucks. To be a part of this "program" they offer - you must stop paying your credit card bills (or whatever), take the risk of getting sued by your creditors for failing to pay, and - MOST IMPORTANTLY for them - either give them access to your checking account or they set up an account that you have no access to with a direct deposit from your checking/savings/debit account. The point of all of this is to sweat out your creditors to the point that they will take a lesser amount than you actually owe - thus saving you money by cutting your debt by about a third - providing that they don't actually get tired of this game and just sue your butt. The separate account is "supposedly" to build up money during this process so that you will have a tidy little sum saved up with which to offer them once they decide that you're truly deadbeat material. The problem with this is their HUGE UPFRONT FEE which gets paid FIRST. By the time you actually build up a nice nest egg of money, they come along and suck the account dry for their fee(s) and then you're SCREWED. At this point you've managed to [***] your creditors to the point they'll likely sue you for what you awe them - PLUS FEES AND INTEREST - usually adding 25% or more to your original debt.
And those nice DEBT RELIEF people? They tell you right up front that if you're sued or anything like that, brother - you are on YOUR OWN. Don't believe me? Just listen to their quick pitch and/or the fine print - if you even get it.
They get their fees UPFRONT first - before anything else gets paid. If you're going to do this, you can just do it yourself for free. This ain't rocket science. It's just being trashy enough to not pay your bills - and if you have no conscience and no morals - hello, you can manage to rip off your creditors just like these guys would like to rip you off.
Simple ain't it?
...and it didn't even cost anywhere near $5 GRAND did it?
These are scammers of the finest caliber - 2 angry baboons in a tiny cubicle with an auto dialer trying to rape and pillage the country - all for a buck.
Makes me want to smack 'em in the crotch with the wrong end of a claw hammer - then PULL.
I'll take those teeny-tiny testicles - the remains of what had been your shriveled man-hood "has beans" and put them in a tiny jar for display in my mantle. My trophy.- Caller: 2 baboons with tiny testicles - you'll laugh so hard you'll pee

- JHMIf you haven't figured it out - I truly ~HATE~ telemarketers.
...if only murder were legal.....
I can't begin to tell you how many of those BLUE PLASTIC BARRELS I have saved up over the years just waiting for the chance to kill one and bury him in the back 400 acres.
But hey, that's just my fantasy....- Caller: 2 dumb to get a real job...2 small 2 impress a woman

- SusanH.Wow. Just got a call from this number and the guy was literally insane. He was incredibly rude, profane (called me "f*cking stupid" and said "you're not gonna buy f*cking sh*it . . .). Said he was from VRG ("Vehicle relief group . . . are you with me on that?" Or are you too stupid?") and I couldn't believe it! I'm calling the FTC and my attorney general now.
