I also had a call from this number.  Caller ID is strange: V81811 etc etc.  Didn't leave a message.

I am on NO CALL list and still get calls from this number frequently. When I ask to be removed from their list, they hang up. Anyone have any suggestions??

Keep receiving calls from this number from a guy with an "Iran-like" accent.  He claims to work for Microsoft and states that someone is trying to hack into our computer.  As soon as I start asking for proof of Microsoft employment etc....or ask even what state he's calling from....line goes dead. BEWARE!!!!

I would suggest not answering unknown phone calls.  If it was important or a legitament call for you they would leave a message.  I do not answer ANY unknown phone calls.

If you don't already have a Gmail email account, sign up for one then get a free Google Voice message #.
Get call forwarding on your home phone service and then forward your home # to your Google Voice #. It has settings that will record and email you a sound file of the message and the ones that are hang ups or ones you don't want to have to bother with you can block..

Saves me the expense of an answering machine!

I got a creepy sounding automated voice response unit, selling home alarm system garbage.. blocked from now on.. :--)

Received a call for this number, did not answer.  Read out stated cell phone for New York!!  Did not answer this call.

robo caller thought my answering machine was a live person and the robo caller tried to have a conversation with it.

Trying to sell a home alarm system. Ha ha scammer.

Got a call from this number at 11:20 AM this morning (central time). Didn't leave a message. Caller ID showed as MANHASSET NY.

Report these calls to the donotcall.gov site.  File a complaint.  If they get enough of them they will go after this caller.

I get these calls also. I get rid of them by reporting them to "DoNotCall.org". It has gotten rid of 90% of the nuissance calls I get.

Correction....to get rid of nuissance calls, go to "DoNotCall.gov"....

Wow, this caller should be selling his voice for advertisements.  I thought it was a recorded message at first, because the sound was so professional.  But it was real-time, real conversation.  Said his name was Mark Davis, and started reading a script about "updating" the cellular network.  Claimed, among other things, that "one out of every fifteen homes" is having its land-lands cut by "thieves."  I finally cut HIM off, told him he was a lying scam artist making illegal calls, and he hung up.

We are getting these and other calls all day long 7 days a week and holidays as well!!!
We are on All the No Call List which means nothing to these people, I never answer the calls, but now they are calling in the morning as early as 7:30AM and as late as 9:30PM.
Can't block all the numbers they call from because they keep changing. I have reported this before and it seems no one can do will do anything about it. They will never get me to answer, that's for sure!!!

If I had the right colors...one of which is low, I think a fax would have printed.
but since someone was sleeping I would not allow a grey-scale print.

Also got a hang up, as I did pick up on the four ring - but didn't get anything.
