I agree.  Same tired old spammers trying a new number since we have blocked all of their other ones.  Ignore, block and report...AGAIN...sigh.

Telemarketing scammer! Ignore / block call.

called at 7:40pm  kids in bed, wifes in bed because she works nights.
on the do not call list   that has not stopped them
they should shut all these jerks down, or at least put a $50,000.00 fine for every unwanted call !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call tonight from "Alert"  (516) 370-4161 while I was on another phone call so I didn't pick it up.   I have received 12 calls today from unwanted callers who now call my cell also.  I am on a do not call list.  What good does it do?

It works like its supposed to.. it only keeps the honest ones honest.  It does not stop the scammers, frauds or extortionist, let alone the illegal telemarketers who don't obey laws.

The DNC does work, most people didn't bother to read it and understand how it works.  It can not protect you from the calls made by illegal telemarketers, scammers, frauds or Extortionist scammers.  It doesn't work the way everyone would like to believe it does. It only keeps the honest business's honest,. What you can do is report these calls, see my post above for the links.

Don't answer numbers you do not recognize, pick it up and hang it as quickly as you can preferably before it can ring completely and you id the caller.  You can also try using the whistle or boat fog horn on em, then do the first.  I did that and don't get over 1-4 calls a month max. All I do is pick it up and hang it up.  If you don't have time to deal with it, then buy a call blocking device..

This man would not stop talking even when I was asking questions.  He said that a family member ordered the medic alert for me out of concern for my safety.  COMPLETE SCAM.

Caller ID "Farmington NY".  Professional sounding.  "John from Medical Alert, calling to schedule delivery of your system."  Slick in that the way it's stated, it's as if someone in the household has ordered the service.  I said we don't have it and we don't want it, and hung up.

Called on cell phone.  I didn't answer...no message left.  Put on my phone SPAM list...will now go straight to VM.

Did not answer, left no message. Thanks for posts here. I will not answer calls from those I don't know.

Caller ID says "ALERT". Robo message left starts in the middle, and seems to be saying we can have "$3,000.00 worth of coupons" to be used at various (unnamed) food chains, if only we will give them our info and get a "free" bracelet or necklace alarm. Whoooeeee...I can't wait! Hah! Just wait until you get the monthly bills to pay for the "free" alarm system, and find out the coupons buy food you would never choose to eat from grocery chains you never heard of.
