I've been receiving calls from this number trying to sell some kind of pain cream.

Received a call today. Caller ID was NY, USA. The phone rang twice and then stopped. I did not answer. No idea who this was nor do I want to care!

The same thing happened, rang twice then hung up before I could answer

Received call from this number on my cell phone. Hung up before I could answer the call. No message was left, but this is not the first call received from this number.

I received a call from this number for the past two days.. 2-3 times per day. When it goes to my voice mail they hang up. The caller ID showed "Family & Child"  < no clue what that's about

I received a call from this number.  It rang twice and that was it.  No name appeared on the caller id, only Garden City, NY.

I dialed the number and reached a message detailing that if you have been called as a part of a solicitation- it is a scam and is under investigation- block the number

This looks like a case where an innocent person's number is being faked by a scammer. The innocent party is getting calls from people who can't resist calling back when they get calls from unknown numbera.

Yet another reason not to call back unknown numbers. It turns you into the spammer because you're harassing an innocent person.

Got a call from this number and answered. Got a message that I won a trip to Orlando and to press "1" for a representative. Pressed one and no answer no hold music no nothing.

Called my number. I did not answer. Internet search shows as a telemarketer.

Called twice, answered the second time.  The recording congratulated me for winning a luxury trip.  Blocked!

Rings, machine get the call, caller hangs up. Top number has a v before it and the bottom number is different-scammers

I just received a call from Family and Child. They did leave a message which was garbled. It started out "Hi There" with a sexy voice but could not understand the rest which I am thankful for. If they call back they will be blocked.

I rarely answer unknown numbers (esp if they are out of state) no voicemail ... Internet search for 516-485-3249 reveals
Familyandchildrens.org in Mineola,NY ... =/  (because spammers can mask phone numbers, I put *unknown* as caller)

They called three times today to my cell phone, which I never use when I have to provide a phone number for instance, so how do they get my number?  I think my carrier sells it.  Also, I don't have voice mail set up on my cell, so don't know what they were trying to push.  I hope that soon these people will be found and will be charged with crimes.
