I answered when they called a few minutes ago - they asked for my husband saying they were verizon - well, my caller ID said NASSAUZNO 1NY - just said he wasnt home and they asked if I was a decision maker and I said no haha

Same thing happened to us.  This number comes up several times a day & numerous times a week caller ID.  This is a scam caller.

This is a scam call.  They say they're from Verizon.  Our caller ID says NASSAUZNO 1NY.   If you don't pick up , they  keep calling and don''t leave a message.  They call several times a day all hours .  

A spoofed caller ID and no message left.  Don't know who they really are, but if they keep hiding their caller ID info, I do not need to pick up the phone.  Bugger off, [***]!

Do not answer these kinds of calls. They will tape your conversation and the slightest "leniency on your part to try their services" will be manipulated as "your permission to change your carrier". And you may find your services terminated by the present carrier and hijacked by the imposter. If you don't want to be taken advantage of like that (1) IGNORE & REJECT THESE UNSOLICITED CALLS (2) ASK YOUR PRESENT CARRIER TO KEEP A "VIRTUAL" LOCK ON YOUR ACCOUNT, if they provide that option, that they will take your permission before transferring service to another carrier. Unfortunately, our nation gives too much freedom to businesses for promotion which opportunists are misusing. We had a slight respite from these type of gimmicks and harassment after 2008-9 market debacle, now they are slowly raising their ugly heads again. Anti-monopoly drive by the judiciary gone wrong!

Numerous calls per day.  No call list makes no difference.

Caller ID showes these numbers all the time. Someone doesn't feel tired.

I am sick and tired of these people calling EVERY day.

STOP THE MADNESS. They call everyday a few times a day.

They have been calling me about 8-10 times a day for the past week. They do seem they might be from Verizon. If I find out they are really from Verizon I will cancel all my services with them, not that they would even care.  

This number has been calling incessantly for at least a week, perhaps longer.  Never leaves a message.  I am registered with do not call also so I agree with the comments that this registry is pretty useless.  I do have Verizon so if it is them I would be outraged (but I don't intend to pick up the phone to find out).  

This number has been showing up on my Caller-ID several times a week for three weeks now.  I never answer calls unless there's an identifying name that clearly identifies the caller, so I don't know who they actually are (or are pretending to be).  

This number is weird because some Google searches find it on a Web site for Occupy Wall Street as a number for conference calls, but I somehow doubt OWS is calling me.  Why would they?  If it's Verizon, why doesn't Caller-ID say Verizon? And why won't they leave a message? If they had legitimate business with me, they would leave a voicemail, as they do when I'm late paying my bill.  If they're trying to sell me something, sorry, I don't respond to cold calls.  I've got this number blocked now.  They had several chances to leave a message but didn't bother.

I got a call, but didn't answer. The caller ID indicated NASSAUZN01 NY 516-570-9227

Never leave a message but turns up as NASSAUZN01 NY numerous times. Oh if only we had a government that enacted laws and enforced regulations that were intended to help the average citizen rather than aiding BIG BUSINESS, THIEVES, and SCAM ARTISTS.

The person claimed he is from Verizon but the caller id shows NASSAUZN01. Needless to say, it is another scam.

I put these jerks on my phone's block list and their robo-dialer called 18 times in the span of 45 minutes this morning.  Fortunately I was not home.  They need to go away, big time.

Received a call from 516-570-9227 (Nassauzn01 NY) on 11/09/2013. Caller stated they represent Verizon. The spiel was to choose FIOS. DECLINED. On Monday 11-11-2013 we received a call from Verizon  regarding the scheduled FIOS installation.
NOT happy.

That's funny.  I've been receiving these calls for over 3 weeks also and don't pick up the phone.  If they really are from Verizon, why would they call me when I already have FIOS for over two years???

Just called (11/20/13 15:14hrs). Never answer phone numbers I do not know. No message left on voice mail.
