Current scam is computer has been hacked.  Caller requests $49.99 to assist....Speaks with either British or Indian accent...background sounds are like call center....DO NOT GIVE MONEY...Hang up immediately.

Exactly the same thing.  Indian guy trying to convince me that there's something wrong with my computer.  I asked him how he got my phone number and he hung up on me.  Stop calling me.  

I have been getting calls from 1 (516) 578-2826 NY, USA never picked up but today i decided to pick up and a guy ask if he can talk to me and i am like before u say something ... I would like to let u know i have been receiving a lot of calls from this number and i dont appriciate it and he just hung up... I really dont understd why the f**k do they call people 😡😡😡😡

Received a phone call from this number, after I answered they hung up.

Been getting calls from this # for a few days now and when I answer no one responds but instead I get a loud beeping noise like a fax or something.

I have received several calls from this #, no one ever speaks when I answer nor do they leave a msg when I dont... I am on the FED DO NOT CALL list, this is harassment!

This person called trying to get remote access to my computer. When I told him to stop calling because I know it's a scam, he called back and said " I want to f*** your p**** " I'm in shock as to the crudeness of the scammer!

I keep getting calls from them they either hang up immediatly or like the one that just happened i heard noise like in someones pocket then they hung up

Just got a call from that number...did not answer & they left no message.

Some Indian guy called and had my name. Asked if I was using Windows 8 on my computer. Lied and told him I didn't even have a computer and he immediately hung up on me. Call it right back and it says the number has been disconnected. BullS**t call.

I have had multiple calls from this number and when I answer all I get is dead air.  Very annoying.

516-578-2826 They keep calling all day. Never leave you a message. When you try to call back you get a message from verizon tell you (the # you dial has been changed, disconnected or is no longer in service). So this is what I do for telemarkers.  I have installed an app called call blocker. If you are not on my contact list call is automatically blocked and you have the option to send to vm are disconnect.

Also got the same as others about a problem with my windows. It was a guy with Indian accent and told me that my computer was infected with the same virus that attacked the Target stores. He wanted $299. To fix, I said no then he said to take my computer into Best Buy for Service. I told him to give me a number to call him back and he gave his name Garret and this number (855) 393-4248. I didn't bother to call it back but does come back to a Verizon phone in New York state. BEWARE OF THESE SCUM BAGS!

Scam they want to get your credit card number saying my computer is sending error messages. Beware it was on the news and the man or woman says with an Indian accent that my computer is sending error messages. Don't believe it. Use antivirus protection and the free Malwarebytes and never pay anyone money or let anyone into your computer!!!

A weird indian Accent dud said is (insert name here) there? I said no i can relay the message to him. He said who are you? I said his wife, in reality im his daughter and said Ur voice is like a little baby. Whatever you sound like a dying walrus. Fuget you SCAMMMA
