I missed a call from that number 516 870-0272 but there was an automated voice mail message from a company directing me to a website for more information about charges for this collect call, but no name of the caller. Then again this morning, I answered it and it was a collect call from somebody, I think he said his name is Bush or Buch something. I hanged up immediately.

This number has called me 5 times in a 30 minute period. I was unable to answer (except once on accident) since I am currently in class.

They continue to call me - this morning it was 16 times every 10 minutes.  This has been going on for days.

This is a SCAM!! Please do not answer the phone! They had a report on 20/20 about prisoners taking advantage of people. Please read more about it on the internet or goto ATT's website which explains how the scam works ,http://www.att.net/smartcontrols-InmateCallForwarding.

This is not a scam. 3G Collect has contracts with many companies to provide collect calls to mobile phones. 3G sends txt message invoices so if you received a txt, you accepted a call. you can pay your bill or review your call details at www.3gcollect.com or email service@3gcollect.com. the system is automated so the only way to get a txt from 3G is if you pressed "1" to accept.

$15.99 to accept a collect call is a scam although it may be legal.  What I want to know is how the Caller ID is coming up with a person's name but then a message from 3G collect plays.  And I want to know why this person is calling me collect.  Is he in jail?  What companies does this service provide for?  I'm not accepting a $15.99 cent call or a $15.99 prerecorded message.  That's a rip off.

Received 6 calls 20 minutes apart. Never answered but did leave recorded message.

I also got a call from this number as well as one from California, Washington and Chicago all trying to collect a $21.75 charge for a collect call you cannot call anyone back or go to a website I believe this to be a scam.

I forgot to mention in the above reply that they also called me 5 times a day I may have to change my number

I am getting harassing non stop phone calls from 205-623-1372 from something that is NOT mine from 1999 I have asked them to STOP and they laughed and said "MAKE ME" I was shocked I am a disabled female and do not appreciate this abuse they have called me over 75 times!!!!!
