This number Called today, gentleman with extremely thick Indian accent stating he was calling from National Grid and offering to sell gas at a reduced rate and that they had sent us a letter in the mail (which either is fiction or we never received it), my husband said "dude your calling from a cell phone with an unknown name" and the scammer hung up.

I called National Grid and I was told that they have been receiving copious calls regarding this new scam, I gave her the info I had and she warned us not to give any personal info to these scammers especially account numbers. If anyone happens to receive "this letter" in the mail, call National Grid and get the number to fax it to them. I spoke to Robin and she was extremely helpful.

hi this used to be my cell phone number. My cell phone number was stolen by someone who is using it as a mask to try and scam people. please do not talk with whover calls from this number. I had contacted my cell phone provider and they are aware of people taking numbers and using a computer software to mask their real number with other numbers so they cannot be traced. I had the number disconnected because of the number of calls i was receiving from people complaining i called them. The only thing i was told could be done was to have my number changed. if anyone receives threats or scams from this number should contact T Mobile so they can log this try to get the authorities involved. more complaints they get maybe the more they can do.....thank you. and im sorry!
