Rang wireline. Call blocked. This is the persistent fake Google SEO scam sent from a spoofed number.

Number was ID - PrivacyStar.com lists ID as Albion MI. Also call from 517-343-3114. NEVER answer unknown callers.

When I answer the phone I get no response. I repeat my answer and the call disconnects. I call back and it asks me to hit 9 to be removed from the list but never get to talk to anyone to see what the company is or why they are calling.

These vermin use that stinkin' software with an auto dialer. We ought to get a class action suit against the weasels who make software that utilize the stinkin' auto dialer. Surely some lawyer would like to clean up by cleaning the clocks of these lowlifes! ha ha yeaa baby

The usual idiot message from the usual idiot scam artists trying to trick honest businesses into falling for their Google listing crap.  Partial message on our company's answering machine on 4/14/15 @ 1822 hours.  May these persistent, bottom-dwelling, scum-sucking scam artists burn in the lowest level of Hades.  (My apologies to reputable bottom-dwelling, scum-sucking creatures.)

Robo calling Google listing scam

One of many google calls.  Google needs to shut this stuff down.

You would think they wouldn't like this much anger at them ... but apparently these third party pests drum up enough new business for them, they are willing to look the other way. We are inundated with this crap and waste so much time EVERY DAY answering their calls, just to hang up on them. Grrr...

I now only get about one call a week.

DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS. DON’T HAVE YOUR NUMBER REMOVED! When you press the number to have your number removed, you confirm that your number is a working number and then they sell your known active number to another scammer.

ROBO CALLS: Each area code has 9,999,999 numbers times that by 800 possible area codes.  The program starts calling every number that it can in succession.  So they don't need to buy or obtain lists from anyone so DNC does not work. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem. MY HOME PHONE (Panasonic Link2Cell Bluetooth® KX-TGH263B LCD/2 Handsets) BLOCKS 250 NUMBERS AND THE ADDRESS BOOK HOLDS 3,000 numbers and the phone talks to you and says spam from across the room (like if you are up on a ladder).  I save each call as spam and don't answer it.  Right now I have 98 numbers saved as spam and still have room for 2900 more.

I received a call on my mobile phone and luckily I have CM SECURITY app that auto blocked me from answering and identified the number as Spam/Potential Spam caller.
