Who are they

Received call, answered phone on 3rd ring, no one on other line.  Remember getting this same call about 3 weeks ago.  Now I check this number and see that other people are getting the same annoying phone call

Wow, so I guess I am not alone. I received two calls from this number 8/14 evening and 8/15 morning. Both times they didn't leave a message. Very annoying.

Three calls - same deal in San Diego

I also recvd call from 517-431-1960 - Maritz Research.  They take a survey on general usage of credit cards, which card company you prefer, how you rate their services...etc., Yes annoying, but either anser the survey to get rid of them or block their # if you can.

I received a call from 517 431-1960 and no one was on the line it showed up as Martiniz Reasearch.

Keep getting calls from 571-431-1960. No one there. very annoying.

Got a call from the number. Said they were Bank of America calling about my recent visit. I immediately cut them off telling them I don't do surveys from the Bank and that the Bank had instructions on my account to never call me for surveys or telemarketing. I called the Bank after and they said they don't give out personal information to 3rd parties. So if this number is Maritz Research well then the Bank lied because giving out my unlisted phone number is giving out my personal information.

Received phone call at 5 PM on 11/8/10. No message.

6:05 PM - 3 rings and no one on the line.  Phone says Maritz Research

I've been receiving calls from 517-431-19?? MARIT? RESEA?? on 3-20-2011 the 19thx2 & 18th.  I picked up once, no one on the other end.  The other calls went to voice mail where they did not level a message.  Code 517 is located in south central Michigan.   Please post your experiences, especially if you have any fraud taking place with your ID.  I have no problems I know of.  They have been calling me during non business hours.  11:13 AM Sunday  3:46 PM & 1146 AM Saturday.

I've been getting calls from this number 2 times each day.  Getting extremely annoying.

Got a call waking me up at 9:10 AM from 517-431-1960  They left no message.
Just loser marketers from VA.

A Sergio called from to discuss "recent branch activity".  Interestingly a Sergio has also called our daughter in the past wanting account information and she did not provide that to him.  

When calling the operator for guidance, she indicated an elderly woman the night before had also called in tears about someome from this same bank.  Our bank indicated this was a fraudulent call.

We have reported it to our bankers, their fraud division, the police department

Got me one of those phone calls. Good thing I didn't hear them call so I wasn't bothered.

I don't give out my land line number.  I don't have long distance on it.  I ony have it to have internet (dsl)  This number is one of many spammers disturbing my peace and quiet.  They never leave a message and sometimes don't even wait for the message machine to come on after the fourth ring.  Do not all lists are a joke!  These spammers are thumbing their noses at the law!  Between hackers and spammers, I don't know which ones I hate the most.  They all make life hard on the people they effect!
