This is the third call this week from an unrecognized number in Michigan - the other two previous numbers I've looked up on this site have reported them as yet another scam involving lowering your credit card interest rate.  Thinking this might be the same group of losers, so I'm blocking it just in case.  Have no clue who this is.

Posed as credit card company to lower my interest rate scam involving lowering your credit card interest rate.

This is a telemarketing scam.

First time this number, one of many very likely from the same credit card scammer.  Now blocked.

they are giving away 100 dollars..

ask these scammers  they are giving 100.00 CASH.  THEY ARE LOOOOOOSERS

They told me that If I didn't give them $1000.00 they would cover me with pigs blood.  Had to be Islamic.

Rec'd on cell phone. I answer and hit END immediately

Called acting like fidelity tax relief company

First call from them today; left no message. On to the block list with them.

Called and said they were tax relief company

Posing as IRS tax relief center..... thick accent.

received recorded message about pre-qualification status. scam.

call and said if I don't pay my taxes I will go to jail and told me to hit a number if I wanted to discuss my taxes issues. after I did not responed they hung up

I listened to the recorded part about taxes and then hit option 1, after which I had a nice chat with 'Jason'  - he sounded so nice and polite, until I thanked him and told him how much I enjoyed the time I spent with his mother and sisters the previous evening... it was all downhill from there, and he never did get around to telling me why he called.

This is not a debt collector . This is a scam. A very dangerous scam. The IRS does not call people. They send letters by snail mail and by certified mail.  Do not answer. Do not press buttons. Block y
