got a call... missed it... does anyone know who it was?

Got a call a few minutes ago, missed it, who is it?

Got a call on my cell phone.  Said they were from some Paralyzed Veterans organization.  I asked why they were calling on my cell phone.  The woman said they got it from my cell phone provider.  I promptly hung up.

Called twice today on my cell phone.  Missed both calls - don't know who it is.  Tried to call back but got busy signal.  Not going to pursue.

Called yesterday and again today - I did not answer and no message left.

Called today but did not leave a message.

Called several minutes ago, did not leave a message.

The caller asked for donations to veterinarians. Don't pick up the phone if you don't plan to donate. They are RUDE!

Yes, called both my wife and my cell phone simultaneously . Very fishy!!!!

Received call from 517-679-0755 on my cell. Said they were from Paralyzed Vets. No one has my cell other than family/friends. They said it was a computer generated call when I asked the person calling me how they got my cell. IIt's apparently a land line call from Ingham County Mich (around Lansing). I'm assuming it's a scam and will try contacting Paralyzed Vets.

Called today twice: I answered both times only to have the call ended.  Decided to google the number and found this.  My cell is on the do not call list so am a bit peeved.

Rude solicitor called my cell phone on Saturday. FTC complaint filed, number blocked

The woman laughed when I told her that I would report the number to the "Do Not Call List" agency. I'll keep reporting harassing callers anyway.

Called me today April 26,2010 and asked "are you over the age 18 dear". I said "yes" and was about to ask who or where is it from but the lady hung up right after I said "Yes"

Also this morning recieved another call from 517-679-0758.  Which was an automatic recording for collecting donation from non profit organization.  And there was an option for if you wanted to remove your name from the caller's list Press 1.  I did.  Right after that, this noon I got the call about: if i was over age 18.  Is this some kind of prank or identity theft?

Have received multiple calls from this number and it appears to be someone looking for donations. Apparently Notfor profit is do not call.

Called me this morning, three times in a row, during one of my finals.  Called again, after my class was done, and when I answered the guy wouldn't tell me his name.  I he said he was going to mail me a card asking for my donation, and when I told him he was calling a cell phone, and asked how he knew that number or my parents' address, he said "Oh, I don't mail it, the people here do."  Would never give me a straight answer, and got really defensive when I asked if I could call back later (not that I would, I just wanted him off the phone).

I picked up, answered as I usually do and they were weirdly quiet with a little non-distinct sound in the background as I continued to say hello. I finally got fed up and hung up the phone.
Super fishy. I'm on the DNC list too, so I'm upset I got a call from anyone. Definitely seems like a scam.

Called 3 times today on my cell which no one has the # to.  I hope they call back when I have a chance to mess with them.
