- Scully| 2 repliesReceived 4 threatening voicemails from a Steve Martin with a heavy accent claiming to be calling from the U.S. Treasury and that if I ignored the call, I would be committing an intentional second offense, which is a federal
offense.
Really? What a pain to have to deal with people like this. Nobody should be receiving these phone calls. - Scully replies to ScullyThere were 2 different call back numbers given...
517-798-3615 and 347-828-9629. - DWSame story as the others - this "Steve Martin" with a very thick accent left 5 messages on my phone today!
- WoodyHas been calling for 4 days - 7 messages yesterday alone.....
- LindaI got the call from Steve Martin on voice mail, heavy accent, and like others, I was told I would have to go before a federal grand jury or a majistrate judge for an enforcement action and something to do with a criminal offense and U.S. Treasury.U waited several days thinking about reporting this to someone. Today I tried to call back and only got a fast busy signal.
- Call type: Debt collector
- CJSame message as the people above. Must be same person or a recording?
- D replies to ScullyI have received numerous phone calls on my land line from this number. I never answered but a man - claiming to be "Steve Martin" - left a message each time. Claiming the call is very important and I will be called before a grand jury if I do not respond. I called back and it is always busy. Though I would love to talk to the actual Steve Martin, the person who calls has a very heavy indian accent. Having saved the messages, I am sure a few different people claim to be "Steve Martin." Thanks to everyone for confirming!!
