I received a call from this number saying that my computer had downloaded unwanted malware and spyware, when I knew full well that I am protected. The lady on the other end had much trouble coming up with ways to respond to me, and once I asked if she was from dell,(I own a dell pc) she said sorry to have bothered you sir, and hung up. Obviously a scam. My caller ID said it was Education Ready

i had a miss call from the same number above, but have not phoned back nor i have i spoken to them but the weird thing is that i do have a dell pc aswell!

I just got a called from so guy who could barely speak english and didnt id the compnay he was calling from, and he said they recieved an error report from my computer. I told him that there is nothing with my computer since I was on it when he called. So I told him he knows damn well there is nothing wrong with my computer and I hung up. What a joke these people are. They are trying get us eveyway possible with these stupid SCAMS.

this number just phoned my house, no one said anything and it hung up.. i called back and it says the number cant be completed as dialed... wtf?

I just got a call from them...actually 10 CALLS FROM THEM in 10 days. They are offering me a free phone but when I checked, it is not legit!

THEY ARE SCAMMERS AFTER YOUR INFO. Do NOT give it to them and if they call you, CALL THE POLICE.

This guy called a few hours ago,  wanted to conferm my name and address so they could send me something special. He did know my name and address, how I dont know. I said no and hung up, now they just called back again.

SCARY - these people called me by name and said their company name so fast i couldnt get it, and in his heavy accent he proceeded to tell me he is a tech and he is calling about my computer problem. So i said you are who? and he hung up.

i am so happy that i screened them. they call every day, but next time i will answer and just freak out at them like a crazy person.. if everyone does this, maybe they will eventually give up and go into another line of work?!?

Man with a heavy Indian accent called and told me I would receive a free sample (of what, he didn't say).  Gave a name and company very quickly, then asked to confirm an email address.  When this obviously wasn't mine, he asked for my name and email so he could make sure the free sample got there.  I asked him why he was calling someone and he didn't know their name, and he said all he had was an email address and phone number.  When I asked him why he would call someone with a bogus email address and ask for a name, he hung up on me.  YAY!

...although I'll never get that 30 seconds of my life back.  As info, I called the number back, and it appears to be "disconnected", meaning that they're spoofing the caller ID, and there is no telling where the call actually originated from.

I just received a call from that person to, he said his name was Mike Smith, sorry but someone with such a heavy Indian accent won't be called Mike Smith. I am not happy I kept him on the phone for 6 minutes and when  I asked how he received my number he told me that he got it from the store that I bought my computer then I told him that I didn't give anyone my number at a store to buy my computer he told me he was from Microsoft, and he seen that I had a problem with my windows. like "WTF" what does he think I am just some dumb female. Oh well next step is calling and reporting this  to the RCMP.

They told me i was currently the only person in the country, then hung up! like WTF who says that? my girlfriend was sitting right in front of me so how is that so? i called back and the phone rung twice then it said number cant be completed as dialed .. then why the hell did it ring?

Couldn't understand this guy with a heavy accent and there was a lot of noise in the background.  I asked several times who he was and asked where he was located, and he said AZ.  A lie and number on the voice mail indicated that the call was originated in Michigan.  I hung up and they called again and a 500 number appeared.  After reading the report on this group, I'm glad I hung up.

I cannot get rid of these people they have called me twice a day for the last two months.  I have tried everything and they will not stop phoning, any suggestions?  I told them 'I don't have a computer that 'they are a scam and I'm reporting them' to 'F-off'.  Nothing helps!

I just had a call. much similar to all the rest.  
I asked him for his name ad company  info.
I also told hime there was no problem with my computer and I was going to call the FBI.
The line went dead real quickly.
What will they think of next   to scam people.

I use call display and don't pick up for anyone I don't know.  I also use Bell call Screen service, *60 and it blocked this moron.  thanks for sites like this that prevent scammers from getting away with this annoyance.

I was just called by a man from this #. He said he was calling from microsoft windows and that they were receiving messages about a virus on our computer.
I told him I had not contacted anyone for support. It didn't matter, they were receiving reports about a virus. So, I thought I'll play along to see what he wanted. I said "Okay, so, what is that you want then."  He asked if I was in front of the computer. I told him no and that I didn't have time for this nonsense and he hung up on me.

The same thing happened to me. I blocked the number.

I received several calls that came up on my caller id as 501.
An asian lady said she was from Windows support and that my computor had been compromised and that she could fix it.
She passed me on to a Tech support person then i was passedon to an accounts person.
This is a scam. i was lucky that i shut them down before they could do any damage.
I then got a call from the above numberand recognised the same females voice. my response is unprintable. I expect that they will try again. How do i get rid of them and who are they?
