Called the first time to verify the last 4 digits of my credit card saying that they weren't selling anything but I qualified for a gift card (yeah right, you are going to give me a free gift card but you aren't selling)  I told here I was not interested and hung up.  Next day a guy calls from the same number with the same story.  I asked him if he was from my  bank, he says no, and I asked him if he was someone that I had made a purchase from and he said no. I then asked him how he got my CC#.  He said he only had the last 4 digits.  I asked him how he got those, but he had no answer.  I went off on him telling him that I did not appreciate people haviing access to my card number without my authorization and if he could not tell me who provided that information, I would report his company to the attorney generals office.  He then hung up.

I am now getting calls from 800-305-2851 who hang up when I answer.  Wonder if it is the same people.

I got a call, but couldnt make it to the phone, so I seached the number.  After reading the above comment, I decided to call the number and see if they had my credit card information etc.  The recording I recived when calling was that all members of the Marketing department are busy.  Normally I wouldnt care, but if the above comment is correct and they have my credit card number I want to know who I am doing business with that would transfer that information, so that I can stop.

Got call, rep told me that they were going to send me a $50 gas card and a discount card good at many different businesses. The card was valid for 21 days even if I cancelled. The $1.99 cost was going to automatically appear on my visa bill, after that it would be $24/month. He gave me the last 4 digits of my Bank debit card as the card it would be billed to. I'm not answering this call again.

I received this call from 517-933-2009 at work, but when I did our company greeting, they hung up.  Next time they call I will just answer with a simple hello and see if they say anything

Got a call from this number and a woman asked for me by my maiden name (all bank accounts and credit cards have been changed 4 months ago with my new name) and said she had some information about my Visa card ending in 1101.  The only Visa card I have ever owned doesn't match those digits.  She hung up on me as soon as I said I don't have a Visa card that matched.

My fiance answered the phone and a woman asked for me by my nickname, Bill. When my fiance asked Bill who, she said my last name. My fiance asked who was calling and she said Visa. I got on the phone then and this woman thanked me for using my Visa card and that she had a special offer for me. She wanted to send me a $50 gas credit but I needed to send her $2.49 for postage. I said no, I wasn't interested and she immediately hung up. I did report this to my credit card company.

I got a call from this number at work.  I was unable to make it to my phone, and when they got to the voicemail, there was nothing there.
I keep getting all kinds of scams.  It's really ridiculous.

I just got a call from this number too.  I didn't get to the phone in time, and called it back.  The message said that the mailbox is full. Is it confirmed that they have people's credit card numbers??? And, what is their purpose in calling?

I just got off the phone with these people. I'm happy I'm not the only one. They called my cell phone number and they have my debit information and everything, they said the same thing they said to everyone, free gift cards etc. The women said she was from First Action Investment, I asked a few times to clarify what she was saying because it was very loud in the background. I googled First Action Investment and nothing for that exact name comes up. The women said that I have banked or used an ATM of theres in the last 90 days, my bank statements do not show anywhere that could have been remotely suspicious. She said she was affiliated with Visa. I think the best bet is to contact Visa or your bank to let them know what is going on because this is obviously a problem among many people

Not much to report... I received a call from this number and when I answered there was an immediate pause. I knew it was some sort of telemarketer because of the pause and I hung up. Then when I looked at the caller ID and saw the number from Michigan I almost felt bad as if I hung up on someone who tried to get in touch with us. I looked up the number and it led me here. This is extremely disturbing..
