I didn't know the caller so I didn't answer.

I live in Canada, why would a US phone number call up here... What is it?

I got a call from this number, and I did not recognize the number. I did not answer the call, and they did not leave a message. I called the number back. The recording advised that I have reached a call removal system, and to enter my number to be removed. I completed the steps and the number was removed according to the recording.

they called yesterday using a diff. number but the same business id. It was Grand Rapids M (couldn't read the last word) Yesterday they call saying we were getting a free trip (automated) I pressed three to be removed off their list. They called today - same company diff number and wanted to sell me a computer. The recording this time did not offer they option of getting off the list so I just hung up.Grand Rapids Call yesterday was 517-933-2016

They call but do not leave a message.  I never pick up calls unless I know the number.

On caller I.D. Did not pick up. I never answer 1-800 numbers. I'm really getting sick of telemarketers, and scammers. If you are too, you can register on the national do not call list, and after 31 days of registering, you can report them, and they will be fined up to $11,000.00
I actually HOPE that they call after the 31 days, so that I can report them! I'll be counting down the days.

I have received calls from several different numbers. The first one is 402-982-0762.  Each time I answer, they tell me they are calling to verify the last four digits of my Mastercard ending in ____.  They do have the right numbers, which is scary.  One of the guys today said he was going to send out a packet with information about a savings and discount program.  If I did not want the membership after the first 30 days, I could cancel.  He put me on hold to go through the verification process and I hung up immediately and placed his number on my blocked list.  He tried to call back but because I blocked the call, my phone does not ring and he can not leave a message. The caller from the 517 area code, hung up on me when I told him I didn't know how he had my info but I was not interested in anything.
I run several businesses and I do not have time for this.

Got a call today from 517-933-2016. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it.  Caller ID read "Order Confirmation" under the phone number. I didn't order anything...so I figured it was bogus.

got a call yesterday from 517-933-2016 caller id said order confirmation. they were asking about my master card account and yes they do have the correct numbers. my mother works at the bank i use and they have already placed charges on my account. there is no way to get back intouch with them, i've spoken with the local authorties and am now trying to persue legal action. if these people call, answer and see if they have you account numbers. if they do, immediately call your credit company or bank and cancel your card! if you choose to not answer, they will still charge your account. the charges on my card were placed before they actually called me.
