Calls keep coming. No mess left!

phone rings  ...there's nobody on the line.

no message left, just annoying.

same as others. get this call from 518-000-0000 several times a day with no message or answer when you pick up. I would like to just block this number.

Same as the others, no message left. My phone company gives me the option of blocking specific numbers, but unfortunately their software won't accept this number (because of all  the zeros). I also tried to report it on the donotcall registry, but again it wouldn't accept it because of the zeros.

some political BS

It's some political. Can't a lawsuit be brought to stop these unwanted political calls? They are in effect, when calling a cell, forcing you to pay to hear thier political msg.

This has been happening to me. I was just reading other sites and alot of people say that they call and someone says their name and hangs up.  It sounds like an anonymous company trying to verify owners of cellphone #'s.  I say stop answering.

I sent the call to voicemail, and when I listened, I found the remnants of a robo-call most likely from state senator candidate Susan Savage.  I write "most likely" because for how much I listened to it, it seemed to be "dissing" her opponent, Senator Hugh Farley.

On her website I I registered my dissatisfaction with robo-calls and especially with use of disguised (or spoofed) or blocked telephone numbers.  I also asked if she supports broadening the do-not-call list to close loopholes allowing not-for-profits and political campaigners to evade the restrictions.
