call and when pick up, no one is there and numerous hang ups on machine.  I called the number back and it is the telemarketers voice mail.  I am on the do not call list and this is call #4

I have been getting numerous calls that hang-up on answering machine. I finally *69ed it and got this number - 518-242-8975. I ALSO believe I signed on to the Do Not Call list.

this number keeps calling my cell phone incessantly early in the morning, late at night, and when I'm at work.  Leaves no message. When I pick up I hear someone breathing for about 6 seconds and then they hang up.  Very irritating and creepy.

It's 2:37 and the phone rings.  I pick up, hear nothing but what may be breathing, and I hang up.  *69 tells me the call is 518-242-8975.  I call it back and its Time Warner Cable Sales.  They are randomly dialing as a courtesy to ask how your service is.  I requested my number be removed from their roster, and Ida was very pleasant, agreed to remove the number, and apologized for the annoyance.

This number calls me abotu 3 times a day, never leaves a message.  I'm gonna answer next time and tell them what I think of their annoying methods!

Same thing...  Numerous calls (about every hour, sometimes more often), and half the time leaves a message saying, "Hello? Hello? Hello?"  Once called from an 866 number, according to *69 (I don't have caller ID).  I checked the 800 number here once, and it said American HEart Association.  Time Warner or the TU mkes more sense...

I just called it back and it is Time Warner Cable.

The caller is Time-Warner Cable. It does not matter if you are on the Do Not Call list if you are their customer. They can call you. I just turn on my answering machine. They never get a chance to leave a message. When the current cable promotion has ended, the calls will stop...until the next promotion!

I've received calls from this number every day for the last 2 weeks. They must think I don't work, as the calls are always during the day. I just ignore the calls because I don't want anything else from them. TW screws us on cable rates and they are just out for the almighty dollar. They can keep calling until the cows come home but I will not answer. IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE!!!!!!

I have received 3 or 4 calls this weekend from "Time Warner Cbl 242-8975" according to my caller ID.  When I answer the calls, I hear the "fax song" on the other end.  I never here a voice.  I called Time Warner to lodge a complaint and I also went onto their website and lodged an email complaint with their national sales organization.

I am on the Do Not Call list!  Stop calling me.

Since my last comment on 1/24/08, I bet I have received at least another 50 calls. Some days, I get one call. Other days, I get two. These mother f-er's just do not give up !!!!!!!!!!! I am seriously thinking of cancelling my cable service becuase this is total bu***hit !!!!!!!!! I want nothing of what they have to offer !!!!!

Maybe we should all contact the NYS Attorney General because what is being done to people like me borders on harassment. Screw you, TW !!!!!!!! And by the way, thanks for the 5.5% increase on my cable bill - you bunch of greedy bastards !!!!!!!!!!!!

Called them back and they said its an automated calling system. I called back and asked to be taken off, lets see if it works. I am also on the National Do Not Call List

I answered the call and talked to Dottie of Time Warner collections who wanted to know when I was sending a payment.
