Just the call spammers computer checking out your phone to see if you are still a valid number and will get you on their new call list for free...  No extra charge.  Lucky you.  And nothing can be done to stop them.  Ain't it great?

Normally I don't answer these calls, I don't know why I did this time.
They were going to reduce my credit card interest and ask for my birthdate. I would not give to him,
And told him I could save time for both of us, if he would remove my number.  He told me I  could take my credit cards and shove them up my anus!

What a sales pitch

Got a call at 1:17 pm EST, left no message.  The caller ID read  LOCAL and the number 518-323-9156.
This number is now blocked by my Call Blocker.  Good Riddance!!!

Called my home at lunchtime today. Left no message. Weird area code, not local - maybe low cal?

Had call this morning at 11:06 A.M.  Offered to reduce credit card interest & ask for card No.  He sounded Asian.  Immediately called the Fraud Dept.
No. on my card & cancelled since man seemed to already have my No.
Have seen this no. on my Caller ID before & ignored.  Decided this time
to see who it was.  WRONG DECISION - - FRAUD WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!

Right off the bat I am pretty sure that whoever this is not good. Just saying. Now with that said I kind of enjoyed my conversation with the Tony Soprano Jr. who tried to intimidate me. He called asking to speak to our owner by his name. I said he wasn't available (he was standing in my office) and he went on to claim that a lien has been filed against our company because our owner took out a loan. In my most mocking and over dramatic voice I informed everyone in my office of the serious issue we seem to be in(eye roll). I thought my performance was pretty good but Tony Jr. wasn't so impressed. And he started throwing threats and I informed him that there is 3 people who work in the office and I would have known of this loan and again he started trying to convince me otherwise until I informed him my dad is the owner. I offered a 'nice try' and hung up. I will say it was our entertainment of the day!! I am not sure how much longer they will use this number but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't buy into anything they say. Tell them you'll call them back or hang up on them. Don't let them scare you!!

I get other calls like this. I say "hello" and there is nothing, then about 20 seconds later they hand-up

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

what a bunch of crooks!  Same scammers with a different robot dialer. The story will change as the person you talk will have different approaches. They want your credit ID information to make a new you! If you are tired of the old you, then pick up the phone and become someone else!

Left no message.... blacklisted  Caller id said "Local"  right...

OMG.   I pressed one to talk to a human.  Said I want to get off this call list and he yelled "It's impossible lady!" and hung up on me..  WOW

Called at 12:15 Eastern Time.  Did not pick up the phone, based on the remarks on this page, I am glad I did not.  Caller did not leave a message.

Caller ID said "LOCAL" with a 518 area code.  Yeah right.  Robocall scammer saying that since we've made our payments on time, they will reduce our interest rate on our credit card.  Press 1 to speak to a scammer.  Notice they don't say which credit card account you have, they're waiting for you to tell them your CC number.

Never press 1 to speak to them.  That just logs your number as active and they'll keep calling and will sell your number to other scammers.

I NEVER answer any number that I don't recognize, because I know it's a stupid scammer!!  This one said "LOCAL," but I've never even heard of the 518 area code!!!   Isn't it a cryin' shame what the world has become--- having to WORRY every time the phone rings?  I remember years ago, we were thrilled to hear the phone ring, because we knew it was our friends calling......

the caller id said Local Call..... yeah right with a 518 a/c what a bunch of garbage. Of course, I didn't answer and even if it was my area I still wouldn't have answered, as I do not answer the phone anymore unless its a number I know.
I agree with the caller above. this is my phone, my house, my phone number and we pay for this service and something should be done about crooks and robots calling our homes to scam us.
