When I call this number 518-417-1294 I get message that person at extension - multiple digits is not available..

Unless you think about getting call blocking - a few. Listed or unlisted is now meaningless. You are being called by a computer robodialer that dials from D.C. to daylight. They don't call some numbers, they call 'em all. Eventually they'll find you, and it would seem sooner rather than later. Remember one thing: If they can't get through to you, they can't scam you. Correct?

Called my cell.  "Hello seniors..."  Something about a "free medical alert system" as someone else mentioned.

Who's the worst? This one with the free (?) medical alert system, Card Services, "you've won a free cruise," or the fake charities where 96% of the proceeds go to administrative costs....

CID said New York Call. If I don't know who's calling I don't answer. These type of calls only ring 4 times since they never get an answer here but still annoying. Just don't answer...let it ring!

You can sign up for a free service called "Nomorobo" that screens robo calls, so that they only ring once and cut off. They have a website and although it's not advertised, is carried through many cable and phone services. Not difficult to set up.

Selling medical alert systeem.

If this is the medicalert people, they are using multiple numbers......they have called me before on a different number.   They just don't give up.  Going to check out Nomorobo....thanks!

1. It's "personal medical alert system" scam.  Don't push buttons or talk.  If you provide any account info, you may get recurring monthly charges
2a. Go to donotcall.gov
2b. Click submit a complaint
2c. Fill out the form, you don't have to leave your personal details if you don't want to.  Just your number, the number that called you, etc.

Please click on submit complaint at donotcall.gov so that the FTC gets flooded with complaints and goes after these people.  They have already taken one group of "personal medical alert system" people to court in January 2014.  Encourage them to do it again and shut these places down.

Robocaller left a message on answering machine about a free medical alert system.  Caller ID showed their name as "0" and then their number.  I blocked the number and filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.

Robot started talking before voice mail was ready so we only got the tail end of their message.  What we did hear was something about a medical alert system.  Call me back in 30 years, buddy.......not ready for it yet!

for a "personal medical alert system" as well as $1,000 worth of store coupons and a 75% off card for prescriptions.

I am a senior citizen but still resent these calls. tonight we received two in a row and it was 9:45 pm. Way too late.

Rec'd. call from 518-417-1294 at 9:00 pm.  I am on the Do Call Listing and this is getting so frustrating.  I hate these calls late at night.  I am taking care of elderly parents and every time the phone rings after 8:00 I think the worst.  How do I stop this. I called back the # and rec'd. a recorded message....Pleas help.

Caller ID "Albany NY" … APR 18@10:21am EDT …I do not answer calls I don't know. Message left on answering machine is about a FREE Medical Alert System. 800notes indicate a SCAM.

This number called me last night at 9:21pm. Same as everyone else re a medical alert system. They can't call later than 9pm so they are breaking the law regardless. I'm reporting the number to FCC.
