Got a call a few minutes ago but did not answer.  I put them on call forwarding to the secret service in Alaska. I also do this for political calls.  I sure like call forwarding.  I may change this and put them on call forwarding to the FCC in Washington, DC.

You realize you caller is a criminal.  Since when do criminals obey the law?

Got call from this number, did not leave message, tried to return call, recording came out indicating phone was disconnected.

Caller left voicemail.Sounded like a drunken Pakistani said several unintelligible words then "your ass is smoking". Disgusting.

Canadian pharmacy illegally selling prescription drugs

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Received a call from 518-419-6242 on 8/15/2015 at 3:42pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "Albany NY".

Google Voice already has this number on their spam list so my phone only rang once and the caller was automatically sent to voicemail. No message was left.

Based on the comments posted it appears that this is another number being used by the "Canadian Pharmacy" scam. I have added the number to my GV block list. If another call comes in from this number the caller will receive the out-of-service recording.

Do not do this, Its your number that shows up on the ani/cid and you can get into trouble for this.

I don't know who it is but I have a call blocker that disconnects the call before the phone even rings. The logs showed they tried to call me 3x in a minute. Pathetic!

You don't have to pay for a call blocking service if you have a smart phone. Just click on the "I" to the right of the number, scroll down, and select "block this caller"

Beware do not answer....block the number & report it!

My Whitepages caller ID blocked this number siad that it was a Scam call.  If you want to stop these calls download the whitepages caller ID app on your phone and it will take care of that.  Phone will only ring once and it blocks it.

I have gotten several calls from this number.  It is the same ones previously using other numbers in a variety of area codes, all spoofed.  The most recent one showed up as 1-1-518-419-6242 so it got past the Verizon Wireless block.  In any case, they will have a new number in another month or two, so you just have to keep blocking them as they come up.  I know it's the same ones because they always ask for "Matthew Gregory."  I know no one by that name and I have had my current phone number since the exchange code was assigned for cell phones.
