I got a call from this number today 4/22/14 @ 1:11 PM EST. Didn't answer it, as I didn't recognize it. No message. I checked another site, and another person reported getting a call, but nobody was on the line. I suspect it was a telemarketer/scam. Probably a robo-caller.

I just got a call from this New York number.  No message was left.  The caller ID said "Unavailable."  I am on both State and National "Do Not Call" lists.  After reading others' posts about it I have blocked all future calls from this number.  Thanks, 800Notes!  :-)

Got call on my cell phone. Didn't answer. Called it back from my work phone and foriegn person said he was with iProp premium offering a walmart gift card. Said they are not affiliated with walmart and that they use a service to autodial. Said thay are in Florida. I hung up.

Said I may have qualified for a Walmart gift card. I pressed 1 to talk to rep and got put on hold. When someone answered I told them to remove my number. They called me after 9 PM.

Got a call at 10:30pm. Recording starts up and says "Thank you for calling..." First, you called my number, ass. Second, it's after 9pm. I hope there's a special place in hell for scamers. Just hang up.

I got a call from 518-444-2217 I didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the number, and no message was left.  They need to start reading 800 notes.

Got call from same exact number today, 4/23/14 @ 3:07 p.m......rejected with message that reads "telemarketers go to hell"!!!

Called today. Caller Id said 0. I did not answer. No message left.

This  same number 518-444-2217  called me on 4/22/14  at 10:01 and gave me their I.D. # as 86001. They said that this was not a scam and that they were calling from a company named IPROX Rewards Program.  They said that these calls were Better Business Bureau monitored. They wanted to send a $100.00 gift card. They wanted my debit card or credit card number. I did not give it out. I called Walmart and gave them the phone number.

That same number 518-444-2217 called me on 4/23/14 at 7:30. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer the call and no message. After reading these posts I'm glad I didn't.

I got a call from 518-444-2217 on 4-23-14 at 6:06 pm.  I did not recognize the number so I did not answer.  I checked the internet to see if others were getting calls from this number, and sure enough, it looks like hundreds are getting calls from this number.  I will not return the call!  I am on a do not call list.  Seams like the "Do not call" list is a farce.

Same, same 8:45 p.m. call hang up, no message.

I got the call from 518-444-2217 at 8:14. When I picked up a recorded voice said " Thank you for calling. Please listen carefully since our menu has changed." That's when I hung up. No way did I call.

I got a called on april 23 2014 at 6:50 PM  from the number 518 444-2217 but I did not answer the phone.

I just got a call from this number about 10 minutes ago... nobody on the other end. I am also registered on do-not-call. I usually answer unknown calls with something vile anyway, their loss.

These calls are really cutting into businesses!  I end up screening over 5-10 Robot Callers a day!  They call at times when you have customers, on the other line with customers, etc.  No matter the fact that you are on the "due not call" or even if you wait on the line to press 2 or 9 to be removed . . . how pathetic.  There should phone fraud the same as there is mail fraud.  Companies that continually spam your business or home phones should be held into account!  And just as I type this - ANOTHER call to deal with.  And no, it's not anything that we've asked for, nothing that we wish to buy, nothing but more aggravation and wasting my time - making my work that much more drawn out.  Time is money!!!!  I wish they'd get the hint and quit wasting mine!

Everybody quit moaning about the "Do not Call" list.  It does not work. The only way to deal with unwanted calls is...wait for it...not to answer them!  And certainly do not call back a number you don't know!!! The odds of it being Publisher's Clearing House are remote. If it's important, they will leave a message; if its not, guess what?  They don't leave a message.

Got the call yesterday 4/23 at 9:37am and there was no message.  CallerID on phone says +5184442217 and name "Not Available".  But call came in through my Vonage service, so checked for more info and they say call was international with full number 011+5184442217.  Did a little research and found call maybe from a landline in Peru (51) Cusco region (84).  So naturally they couldn't care less about DNC list.  Peru has no Walmart stores, but I guess they do have CC scams.

Johnny F -- If you called them back via *69, you may find charge for international call on your phone bill.

Got the call. the message started out with "thanks for calling" or something to that effect. Since they called me, I assumed it was a scam and hung up.

I too have blocked numbers but they always call from a different # and we just can't get rid of them. Very annoying.
