Dis not answer, no message

There was a voice that seemed automated when I answered the phone. The voice claimed to be returning my call because I wanted to order a back brace. I never inquired about any such thing. I only answered to phone because I thought it was a relative calling me from the 518 area code.

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Another Medicare Fraud.  Said they were returning my call for a back brace paid for by Medicare. How can they get away with this. Bunch of crooks. Trying to get your Medicare SS number

Received a call from the same telephone number. No message was left. I called the number back adding the *67 prefix. Reached a recording that was indicative that this is a telemarketer.

What does the IRS have to do with the scammers who are trying to get seniors to think they ordered a back brace and who are trying to steal personal information?

What the heck , I 'm so tired of getting these calls, I did not get a phone for these low lifes to call me everyday, and the nut jobs that think I'm going to let them remote into my computer, they are so stupid.

Caller wanted to tell me my diabetic supplies were ready to ship and needed my credit card number to charge shipping to.

i said hello and they said "this is the returned call you requested". That is an outright Lie. How can they keep doing this. They hung up.

Look at the information on the IRS site about tax scams and identity theft. Indeed, that has nothing to do with ordering a back brace, but it is one place to report scammers.

got a call,10/14/15 just heavy breathing. have my phone# on do not call list,so much for that idea!

"Back brace that is covered by your insurance" recording.  Looking at the other reports here, it looks like a scam to get credit card or SS # info.  Blocked call and reported to Do Not Call list website...

Called did not answer and blocked using my CPR CallBlocker device.  Scum.
BTW, have gotten other calls related to this same scam with 518 Area Code and Albany NY so these guys are just switching IP lines when they get saturated with blocks.

Call at 2:25 pm est. 10/16. I didn't answer and no message was left. CID said New York call. Another scam.
