I got the  call at 4pm today.  No message!

recv'd call no message, I called back a person answered said to be policemens benevolent assoc looking for donations, could not get a word in until he finished his spiel, told them not to call anymore

This  is a scam

stop calliing my house...i have 2 kids under the age of 2....i don't even live in 518 area code but my father in law does...so i think that they are confusing us....if someone calls, one more time, i am going beyond reporting them..stop waking me and my family,,,,because of the internet i could find out your home humber and will call you all night, just like you to to me and my family

Just got a call from this number stating they are the police, i said the police and caller when on to say i won money in a contest...hmmm i said never register to any contest so you can keep that money, and lose my number don't call back my house...

Collecting donations for "sounds like" New York State Police Benevolent Association. When I said I was not interested in giving to any of these "law enforcement benevolent societies", the caller backed off immediately and did not push his script.

I would like to put all these similar organizations on my "Do Not Call List".

This is around the 3rd or 4th time I've gotten a call from this number. When I answer there is silence and then it hangs up. Also, when I've called the number back all I get is elevator music playing on the line.

A friend got a call from 581-621-5955 when he was not home. Called them back and only heard music.

I got the same thing today as William Reynolds did.  Got the call about 11AM but I was on my other line.  I called back and just got music-- so must be these fools haven't been stopped yet!

Just got this call  I never answer these idiots.  Now after googling the number, I see it's time for the FAX machine..on their next attempt...they never call again.  You can always pick up calls you want before the fax picks up...I LOVE IT

Got the same type of call. Told them no tx you. I am glad I looked up the number.

just called back this number that was on my caller id and all i get is jazz music...??

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

I received the same phone call several times and all I received was music and I was called by my first name. This is scary, I do not know anyone in this area. Besides the music I also received the message, "extension 0 unavailable- users mailbox cannot accept new messages.

Keep receiving calls and the person hangs up yesterday3/29/12 two calls 3:02 PM 8:48 PM.one call 4:45 PM on 3/28/12 one call 6:23 PM.This started after I told them I couldn't give donations to them.I called the number back I get music playing and then a hang up
