Caller ID said "Hudson NY"

Nobody on the line, no message. Scum.

Caller I'd says out of area. No message.

i answered and it was a salesman with an indian or pakistani accent who was selling senior care or nursing home insurance. i hung up 10 seconds itno the pitch.

Please stop calling!

A scammer - blocked the number. I'd hate to know that I had to make a living cheating people.

It's a scam preying on seniors, told me that I should talk to his doctor if I think it is a scam. Told him he doesn't even know the name of his doctor and he hung up.

Caller ID says "Hudson   NY".  They leave no message.  I do not call them back.

Based on two posts on this site it sounds like someone selling "senior services" relating to medical issues.

I googled the number.  One site had the following, "Is a scammer praying on seniors... claiming they sent info concerning their medical and life insurance that is ONLY available to them. If you state that you did NOT receive the info... they claim that it just so happens they will be in your area either that day or the next... and want to set a time to come and explain..."YOUR RIGHTS that the GOVERNMENT is NOT telling you."

This seems consistent with someone selling senior services.  There was another post claiming that they want to help you "lower all your debts" (unclear if this means loan restructuring or some kind of credit card rate reduction).  The common theme here is some type of SCAM where they will need to obtain information possibly including social security number, health insurance info, credit card numbers, banking info, etc.  This appears to be some kind of phishing scheme likely to be used for identity theft.

I'm glad to read the information on this site about numbers that call me but I don't pick up. Thanks. I get calls from Hudson NY and don't answer them.
