This is a scam where they will try to collect your personal information, a phishing scam. Do not give them any info. They claim to be a company NAR investigations and the contact is Mr. Rosenberg. They will give you a reference number and everything. They called my cell looking for one of my employees who must have listed me a some kind of reference on something shady he filled out online, probably a Craigslist job add. Beware.

This is not a scam. If they are calling you, you owe money

Mike - if this is not a scam, why can't they provide written evidence of the alleged debt?  They call outside of legally allowed call times.  They threaten the people they call, and contact their family members threatening legal action.  Also despite cease and desist letters being sent and complaints filed with the FTC and local attorney general's offices, the calls continue.

These people are bad news.  They have had many, many complaints filed against them, and are being investigated by the authorities.

This number called stating a case against my daugher and my name was listed as reference.
I called my daughter with information.
She is a lawyer in Chicago.  She laughed and told me that this is a joke..
So, I guess some people don't have anything to do with their time and just fill in their lonely hours with this
