Just got a second call today from this number... let both go to voice mail where it was a hang up. After 2nd call I called the number and got the recording "This number is not in service"

I don't answer calls from numbers on Caller ID that I do not recognize.  When it goes to voice mail, there is a hang up.  Why can't something be done about these annoying calls?  I get at least one each day.  I am on the "Do Not Call" register, but this doesn't seem to be enough.  I can't believe these idiots can't be put out of business.

I want these calls to stop!

Got a call from Albany, Schenectady  area. No message left.  I am not sure who it is that called. Tried calling the number back and got the 'not in service message.'

Got a call from a Rochester NY phone number 1-585-507-4589.  Called the number back and it was Nationwide Credit.

I filed a request for a refinance on line and now I am getting these calls from all these home protection agencies. They state that they are not trying to sell you anything and that you just won a free system but then they want youto pay for their service which to me is trying to sell you something.

I also got a call from this number and let it go to voice mail. The message informed me that if I didn't call them back we would go court. I called them back and their number was "Not in service" What is this crap?

I got a call from this # and they wanted to speak with the person in charge of my National Grid account.

I got the same thing, the man was very rude and DEMANDED to speak to whomever pays the National Grid bill.

Same from an energy company also from 518 545 4545 I struck up a conversation with the man. He stated SVC Energy who is an alternate energy supplier. I kindly thanked him and let him know I'm on the federal do not call list and that I would be reporting the call. He kept saying we voted for this legislation to de-monopolize the energy, I explained that I think we voted for a do not call list too, which I'm on. I had to be repetitive with the man until I asked if he was mentally competent to be a telemarketer, he hung up after that, go figure.
