These people call me on average of once a day, I let the a.machine pick it up since I don't reconize it. It comes up New York call and it is a recording that says press 1 to hear this message in Engish. It is annoying!! I would like to know who it is.

It's a violation of my privacy!  Other than getting a non-published phone number, how can I stop these unwanted, unknown callers?

they call a few times a week, and when you pick up, it asks if you want english to press 1. there is never a person to answer, and they've hung up before. we called the number and were greeted with "did you call us or did we call you?"

they call and dont leave a message...arrrgh....stop calling!!!!

It is not a debt collector.  The only debt I have is a car loan, which has always been paid on time, but I have been getting calls from this number more and more frequently.

Make them stop

This is some kind of scam. I called them back to complain about the calls and they hung up on me.

I received a call from 518-753-5564 and looked into it.  Found out they are a scam collection agency (NCC, a division of Commonwealth Financial Systems).  They try to make you believe you have an old unpaid phone bill that needs to be paid.  DO NOT PAY - even if you owe an old bill.  This company is just trying to rip people off.  They will threaten to take you to court - tell them to go ahead and you will see them in court!  You can have the number blocked from your phone to stop the annoying calls.

please.. some one get them...   i called them repeatdly like they do to me and bitched em out.. when they hung up i called back.. finally i got sumone 2 listen.. i asked so wtf is this sum kind of scam or fradulent company and he says yes ma'm it is sorry 2 bother you.. hahaaaa

I got a couple of calls from them... always the same never left a message, I called them back and they told me up front who they were looking for and it wasn't me. I advised them I just got the number a few months ago and they haven't called since

I just called them back. Whoever was on the other end denied everything and claimed they "took me off the list" and that the reason my number was on there was because some person named Anthony Parker had given out my phone number as his own. He said he couldn't promise how long it would take them to stop calling me. The guy was a complete [***] and I had to hang up on him before I had an aneurysm.

They called claiming I had a hospital bill fom years ago, from when I wasn't even living in NYS. When I told the girl this, she got very snooty and gave me some serious attitude. She even yelled and swore at me! They say they're debt collectors, but they wanted my SS# & credit card info to verify who I was. Yeah.....no.
