Robocall with "loan modification", or "congratulations, you got the loan you applied for"

They left me a message saying that I had recently applied for a payday loan, NOT.

Received a call on my cell phone this morning at 7:30AM (PST) I am in California.  Did not answer the call, but caller i.d. said the caller was from New York: 585-582-5927.  Pre-recorded message said I recently applied for a loan (NOT!) & have been pre-approved for a payday loan. Told me to go to: www.wirepaytoday.com & enter promo code: 2235. Horrible way for them to conduct business!!! You've been warned!!!

Called me from 716-358-1062. Congrats promo code 2235... yea right. Bs!

I received a call from area code 716 and it too promised me $1000 saying because legislation had down graded the rules on lending as of Feb. 14,2014 making me approved for this loan by using code 2235. Crack heads.

I received a call on March 1st stating that on February 1, 2014, that the largest lenders had lowered their requirements and I had been approved a payday loan with www.wirepaytoday.com.  They also told me that I had applied with them and to use Promo Code 2235.  Thanks to all of you, I did not get scammed.

Received the same call but the number was blocked, caller left a voicemail saying the same thing, that I have been approved for a loan and to go to www.wirepaytoday.com and enter promo code 2235. Same line and same scam. No thank you, there should be a  law!

Called from 716-601-6538 found a lender yes right straight BS

I received a call from 1855-628-5698 and said that I have been approved for loan of 1000.00... Crap!

I too received a call stating that I filled out a loan application and the loan had been approved for $1000 and to log onto www.wirepaytoday.com and enter promo code 2235!! Scammers apparently...there should be a law!!

I received a call from www.wirepaytoday.com phone number 716-210-8274 saying that I had recently been turned down for a loan but could get a payday loan for a thousand dollars.  I actually had just been turned down for a credit increase application from my bank.  Naturally I thought this was a follow up courtesy offer coming through channels instigated by my bank.
I filled out the application giving them the information. Suddenly realized something wasn't right...too late.  They scammed me.
Going to the bank now to close all accounts.
