Spam...started out with "if you're tired of creditors calling you.." and I hung up.  Get repeated calls with this recording, from different numbers.

I just got a call from this # also the same message as Mishni got. I too, hung up!

I got call from same number...said "tired of creditors calling you " ...Hung up....

I thought there was legislation to ban these nuisance calls.

Just got a call from 519-220-8461, and the caller hung up after hearing my voicemail message which starts with "If this is a telemarketing call, please remove this number from your list...."   My voicemail service allows me to listen to a caller as he/she leaves a message, and to intercept the call if I want to.  I don't pick up the phone when I don't recognize the number.

I get this call up to 5 times a week.I also screen my calls so it does not get answered.

They have been calling me several times lately.
I have now call blocked the number.

Same spam message about creditors calling two days in row.  That exact message was coming from a blocked number about two years ago then stopped.

arrg, these ppl piss me off!! My credit is great and owe no one, so not sure why they are calling me, or anyone for that matter

I have been getting calls at least twice a day or more from this number. I don't answer it as I do not recognize the number. Reading this tells me they are telemarketers and likely scammers. Like Vancouver said, there's nothing wrong with my credit, so why are they calling the whole world and making you listen to garbage?

My uncle has been recieving calls from this number. Who are they?

They have phoned several times in the last few days . When you try and phone the number back to tell them they better stop phoning , you get a busy signal .

Trying to get my Telco in Canada to stop the calls. Fraudbusters. These scammers are from the USA

I just got a call from this number, they call me at least 5 times a week.  I tried calling them back and got a busy signal.  I am so sick of this kind of harrassing call!!  It would be nice if they identified themselves and answer when I call back so I could annoy the hell out  of them like they are doing to me!!!!

There is but you have to make sure you are registered on the "Do not call" list and once you do register it takes up to 30 days for it to take effect, even then there is nothing stopping them from calling you.  All the list does is tell people who they can't call, they can still call.  They only get fined if they get caught.

Just got a call form this number. I pressed "1" to talk to a person. The message IMPLIED that it was a Canadian company offering protection from debt collectors and I asked the gal who answered if they were a Canadian company. After a pregnant pause I was told "no", which is odd becasue the area code 519 is supposed to be from southwestern Ontario. I asked to be taken off their list as I am on the Canada Do Not Call list (have been for a couple of years)....at which point she hung up on me....as usual for these #@$# scammers.

People, if you are on the National Do Not Call List take the time to file formal complaints against these dirty rotten scammers!
